I am an Aviation Mechanic and bought this to work on my car in the shop on weekends. This gun had no problem removing and tightening the lugs on my car. We have 125+PSI in our air supply, and I have found that all of the HF airtools just need plenty of oil and they work perfectly. I'm very happy with my purchase. For the price this is a steal.

I bought this on sale for 14.99. I liked the extended anvil. I have removed lug nuts on my 3/4ton P/U without any trouble. It seems to have more than 250 ft/lbs of torque advertised. I am very satisfied with its performance, workmanship and very low price.

The other reviews here are not encouraging, but I apparently got a good one.

I bought it for lug nuts and it removed them effortlessly. It works much better than the HF electric inpact wrench I bought several years ago.

250 ft lbs? Well maybe. With the dial on 3 (of 4) a beam torque wrench showed 75 ft lbs before it tightened the lugs further. I doubt this thing would overtighten lug nuts. And I would buy a more expensive model if I had a more heavy-duty application in mind.

This was a trial run using HF's cheap plastic spiral hose (3/16 id ???) and that may limit the torque this thing can attain. Whatever, the lug nuts came off after an instant and I know I torqued them to 85 ft lbs a year ago. This sure beats starting with a breaker bar!

Bottom line - it does fine for what I bought it for. Fair value for the (sale) price.

Out of box had an air leak inside. The anvil would turn but not with any force. I could hold easily hold it and keep it from turning with full trigger pull. Hopefully I just got a bad one but either way it's getting returned today.

I bought this Impact wrench because I was having trouble removing some lug nuts installed by the tire shop. It was said to be prefect for lug nut removal, not so had to borrow my neighbors Earth Quake model to get them off. Figured I could just use it to retighten them when I replaced the tire. I had to finish tightening them by hand, because the wrench did not have the power to tighten them. I have a good compressor and was able to use the earth quake model with no problems.

No torque at all. Just like the previous reviews, I could hold a socket in my hand and this impact wrench could not turn it. It is so weak! I was running 120 psi and it had no power at all. Disappointed, but sometimes you get skunked, sometimes you find a killer deal. This was NOT a killer deal.

This is the 2ns 1 i got and I CAN HOLD THE ANVIL BACK WITH MY HAND. COULDN'T BREAK A LUG NUT TORQUED AT 100 LBS. VERY DISAPPOINTED. I AM TAKING IT BACK TODAY.

I HAVE 175PSI OF PRESSURE & A 150 GAL TANK PRO COMPRESSOR AND I CAN STILL HOLD THE ANVIL BACK WITH MY HAND. COULDN'T BREAK A LUG NUT TORQUED AT 110 LBS. VERY DISAPPOINTED. TAKING IT BACK TODAY.
