I bought this compressor for my small work shop. All I need is something for an air brush and to blow out my shotgun after cleaning. This little compressor should do the trick. When I plugged it in it went right to 100 psi and shut off. It didn't take all that long. One thing I noticed is that the manual said counterclockwise to increase pressure and clockwise to decrease it. WRONG! It's the other way around. If I need more power I have a bigger compressor in my larger work shop.

Got this as a gift. Right out of the box it had a problem. Holes for the handle were drilled too close together so both screws wouldn't go in. And the screws for the handle aren't the best. Not a very good design. Returned it and went with the same size compressor but the pancake model. A lot better design! Much nicer and seems built better.

Died after 6 months, same as most Harbor Freight hardware. The price is low but.. you need to re-buy most of the tools after 6 to 12 months. I am switching to brand manes(20% more expensive but last for 10 years !!!)

Comments about Central Pneumatic 1/3 HP, 3 Gallon, 100 PSI Oilless Air Compressor:

Bought this compressor to work with a brad nailer. It worked great. The brad nailer operates from 70-120 psi. Setting the compressor gauge to 80 psi worked like a charm to drive 10-11 nails before it kicked on again to refill. The refill took about 30 seconds to fill from 80 to 100 psi. I installed chair rail, crown and picture frame molding in my dinning room with no problems. Just have to wait periodically while it refills, which was no issue since I was taking my time. Can't beat the price of [$]

I bought this to use with some semi truck air horns i mounted on my pickup. I didn't want to spend hundreds for an air tank and compressor set up for 12v so i decided to buy this knowing that i would have to pump it up by plugging into a house. It takes about 4 minutes to pump from 0 to 100psi. I run my horns at about 35psi, which is easy with the regulator that comes on the tank. At 35psi, the horns will blow for about 30 seconds which is a lot of horn time. It holds air all day which is a plus when you're away from a plug. Good buy!

After reading the reviews I purchased one myself. have been woking it hard for the last month. It's great. I would not recomend using it with framing nailer, but for a brad or finish nailer it's perfect.

All I wanted was a small compessor that has power to fill truck tires without runnung so long it burns out that poor oiless pump. This wasn't what it If I wanted to just buy it for emergencys then I would get the extended warranty, Wish I had. Going back to smallest oil compressor
