I've had a #95853 for many years. Mine came in a more compact case and the collars are all natural aluminum colored but otherwise it's the same kit. I've used it many times and it's been a first-rate tool. I use it on both races and seals (you can turn the collars over on the handle for seals) and it works like a charm.

I have a very popular pro set in which a few pieces had gotten lost over the years, just to replace a couple of the missing pieces would have cost me more than the HF set. I made the decision to give these a try so I bit the bullet and purchased them, I must admit, I was very skeptical, I didn't expect the parts to last one job. I've had them now for 6 months and have definitely put them to the test, sure made a believer out of me quickly, these are equal to or exceed my professional set and the best part, at mere fraction of the cost, I have nothing negative to say regarding these tools and I highly recommend them.

Purchased this set on sale recently. Used it to install new rear wheel bearing and seal in an 89 Suburban, job was a breeze using the 63 mm installer - handle makes it easy to keep the bearing or seal square with axle bore. Product is very well made, and case is usable (really important if you have many tool sets). Don't know yet how it will stand up to repeated use but very happy so far. Forget hunting around for the right diameter socket or pipe, buy this set (and its smaller companion) and you'll kick yourself for not getting it sooner.

This product is great for the money. It worked great for driving down a BMW differential output shaft seal. I used a HF 20 ton press just to make it easier. The case does have a very strange smell, but I can't complain because this is one of the better blow-molded cases HF products come in. This case is a storage case, not just a retail package. Surpringly nice for the money!

I smashed the h#ll out of one on my 12 ton press repeatedly. I had to put the hub in an oven to heat if up for the race to seat. Even with me putting way more pressure on it than should ever be needed, it still held up. I expected to bend it, but didn't. Color me impressed. Note: my case smells funny too as noted above...

This is an excellent set. I like the blow molded case that keeps everything together and in one place.





I have used it to drive on a front seal of a Seadoo 787 engine and it worked great. I have also used it t when replacing my jet ski trailer bearings. I drove the old outer races out with a punch then used this tool to press in the new outer races. The outer race bearing surface seats on the tapered portion of the pusher, centering the pusher so I didn't have to. It worked slick and the aluminum pusher never hung up or touched the inside walls of the hub.





I would highly, highly recommend this for replacing bearing outer races. I just don't know how you would to it without this tool. If you tried to use a punch you could easily damage the bearing surface.





When pressing in the new trailer bearing outer races I could have used a rubber mallet to strike the pusher handle, but I opted to use my 20 ton hydraulic H press instead. My H press has a pressure gage on it so I just kept pumping until I got a few hundred PSI. I would like to note that the pressure gage needle was near zero and did not start moving until the race was fully seated.
