Description

This hex key set includes ten wrenches with high-torquing T-handles for a firm grip and easy turning. The ten sizes included in this hex key set are 3/32", 7/64", 1/8", 9/64", 5/32", 3/16", 7/32", 1/4", 5/16" and 3/8" to accommodate a variety of tasks. The wrenches are constructed from chrome vanadium and have a black oxide finish for extra durability. The hex key set comes with an organized display stand for easy organization and access.

Good Set

Comments about Pittsburgh 10 Piece SAE T-Handled Hex Key Set:

I picked up this set because I wanted some T-handle allen wrenches. Most everything else I saw had the ball hex ends. I prefer the flat ends for better gripping surfaces. I use the bigger sizes mainly and they have held up very well. The plastic handles could be a little better designed, but overall it's a fairly solid product.

Don't expect to twist these too hard as they will slip in the handle. The plastic is just molded around the hex! They are handy for some use though.

soft metal fails after a single use

These wrenches are simply made of too soft metal. The hex shape rounds off after minor usage. To get any use at all of them I've had to saw off the last quarter-inch and get a fresh surface. These things are shrinking as I use them!
