Every now and then I'll take a chance on bulk low grade expendables, just to have something on hand for when I run out of the good stuff.

This packaging for this stuff is somewhat irritating, however, the tape itself is of exceptional quality as compared to it's price.

I've found the material of this tape and the properties of it's adhesive to be far better than any other "no name" hardware store house brand tape. I've found it to be darn close to some of the better "number/letter combination here".

I recently had to cut open some wire looms I'd taped up a few years back, to move some harnesses and noticed how well this stuff held up under the hood, through Michigan winters and salt.

It's about time to buy more so I figured I'd go ahead and review it. I like it!

Do not use for any reason. Does not stick and Unravels a few momments after application. Id fear for a short as a result

The tape has NO sticking ability. What very little there is, is useless. I would think where this is probably made they would use some kind of toxic lead based glue that would stick!

My apologies to anyone who may have purchased this tape based on my previous review.

This is not the same tape I'd purchased in bulk a few years ago. I incorrectly assumed that when I searched for the old item number (39654), and this tape showed in it's place, that HF had simply, as has been done with other items, changed the item number, leaving the product intact.

I finally went to use the first roll of this new tape and was EXTREMELY disappointed.

The adhesive in this new tape is so weak that it won't adhere to itself when folded over as a tab for untaping. This tape is also far more fragile than the old tape and tends to snap with only mild stretching.

I gave this tape high marks in my previous review because the old tape, Item # 39654 had outstanding adhesive qualities and stretched to twice it's length before snapping.

I can't recommend this new tape to anyone for any purpose, except to wrap harnesses that may require frequent maintenance.

This tape does NOT get the job done for most common uses.

Harbor Freight, please bring back the old tape. Whomever is manufacturing this new tape has obviously not attempted to use it.

I purchased this electrical tape based on the high rating of the other reviewer. Maybe I got a bad batch, but this is the worst tape I've ever used. It comes unstuck and unravels within a few hours.
