We use these to move everything in our store. Appliances, desks, picture tube tv's entertainment centers, etc. You name it, we've moved it. And considering we are ladies that operate the store should say alot. But I do think you guys should also look for rubber tops instead of carpet as a second option.

Placed a mgb engine on it and tied it down. Moved it up a truck ramp and just made it to the top. A lot easier coming down. Also great for tranny holder.

Wow! What rants on these dollies. They are fine. I am in my fifth year using them and they WORK! Look at the two reviews, the one where a guy put a small block chevy engine and the one where a guy moved an entertainment center.


I will get another one because I put mine under my home theatre 52" Samsung


LCD T.V. and man, that is one heavy center.

I figured I rather buy than rent it for moving an entertainment center one day & it worked. I plan to buy another one so I can use them when I move from my apartment.

I use mine to carry my half stack guitar amp.....It didnt come with wheels or nothing and this thing works wonderfully , especially with the full swivel on all wheels

Like others have noted, I wouldn't trust 1000 lbs on this, but I have moved 250 lbs with mine.

My main complaint is that it is hard to steer -- the casters roll just fine, but they don't pivot well, so getting it and keeping it going in the right direction can be a challenge.

Still, a bargain for the price.

The frame is very weak. The wheels look like the came of the bottom of a child's toy. The 1000lb capacity is a joke. The carpet is held on by thin staples. The wheels are held on by a stamped piece of metal not a bolt. I thought it would be okay to move a 500lb air compressor and was i wrong. I wouldn't trust more that 200-250 lbs on one of these.

These do not work The casters do not turn and wind up scraping and chattering across the floor. You're better off shoving the item with no assistance at all. I tightened all the bolts (they were all loose) but it made no difference.

I bought this to easily move a 285lb motorcycle engine and frame around my shop. Loaded the frame with engine installed onto this dolly. I walked inside to grab the phone and when I came back the wooden frame had snapped and my bike was on the ground. I would use one of these again to start a bonfire and that is it.
