Some of the screwdrivers are heavy-duty and have hex boosters on the shank, so you can add force with a metric box wrench or an adjustable wrench, which is very helpful since the rubber handle is rather squishy under a strong grip and gives too much when you are really applying torque. Interesting selection, with several rather fine precision blades thrown in, so that overall the set has a good mix of fine-work blades, normal-size ones, and a couple of heavy-duty ones. I have suspicions about the plastic and rubber - for a while they seemed to sweat some kind of pungent oily substance that led me to think they wouldn't hold up well in a very hot environment. Several had the positive build-trait of very large metal wings embedded in the plastic handles, and those ones were very solid, but one of the finer ones unfortunately had a large air bubble trapped in the plastic right where the metal wings were, so they had little to grip onto inside the handle and the shank had some free play. Also, the molding of the plastic handles was downright crude on some of the smaller ones and I had to take an X-Acto knife to trim off the sharp flashing so it wouldn't scrape at my hands when applying torque.

Comments about Pittsburgh 12 Piece Cushion Grip Screwdriver Set:
These seem pretty good. Good size assortment, and I got them for less than $5 on special. I haven't stripped out one yet, and I usually don't - I misplace them, so I buy more.I like the little one with the screw retainer.

Better than fair

The only problem I have had was that when it was over 90 degrees the rubber grips slipped a bit so I used a small amount of gorilla glue to fix that.
Tolerable quality for cheap

Like many things from HF, these are your best bang for the buck IF you'll only be using them occasionally and high quality would just be wasted.

Good set... For the price.

I loved this set when I got it first. Handles were grippy, they were magnetic and looked strong! After a few uses and torquing the big guys a bit, the rubber grips started slipping on the plastic handle. Bummer, but I'll live. Then, using the smaller guys on another project the tips of the small flatheads broke. Ok, file it back to a tip. So there is a nice variety for lots of jobs, just don't do anything too hard or you'll either lose torque, get blisters from the grips, or break a tip off the small guys. 3 out of 5, but I'll get a different set of drivers next time. But good for the price.

If you are just going light work these might hold up. The package is packed with a wide variety of sizes, lengths, etc. But if you have to put them to the test they will fail you. This is one of the products that does not bring credit to HF.

Cheap set good as extra/throwaways
By JP
from New Jersey
I got these to add to older screwdrivers and save me time hunting for tools in the basement. They work fine BUT don't seem to be the type to last for long. Where better screwdrivers last for years before they start to wear/bend/etc these do that in weeks if not days. The rubber grips are cheap with small ridges that will break off when you apply torque. On some of the screwdrivers the rubber is so loose on the handle it spins around the plastic body.I'd only recommend these as an extra set to be used as backup or throwaway tools you could abuse and not feel you damaged a quality tool.
Dont Buy

I work at a body shop/salvage yard and the first day I used them, the heat just made them turni into rubber. They work great when its cold/cool. Dont keep in a hot place though
Very Weak

Second time I used the larger standard, the shaft seperated from the handle. Another broke under normal use. Disposable is the best description I've seen for this product.
