I have snow removal business. I have a ATV with a plow and enclosed cab with roof mount for the light. I normally zip tied the cord to the steel pole running up to the top of the cab however this year I forgot and impacted several drifts, the light came off and hit pavement. I just put it back on and still worked. I was on another job and it did the same as I had forgotten that I used zip ties to hold it in place. Hit ground and still worked. Gives great visibility in darkness and fair visibility in daylight. Warns drivers effectively and I highly reccomend! Mine has been great.

I bought one of these in-store for use on my Ford Ranger Plow Truck. Although not good for use in the daytime, it works great in wintery mix conditions and at night for allowing vehicles to see my vehicle parked on the side of the road or when plowing. I also had used this as a light for responding to volunteer firefighter calls in my own vehicle as it does not drain the battery down all too fast. It really only is good for about one year of use, you get what you pay for.

flashes are not real good. but the magnetic value stayed on my roof at 70 mph.

Good light for what it cost. This light is inexpensive if buying for several for fleet use. Only drawback is, it is not weather tight, could use a gasket around the base of the dome and where the screws come through the base. Also could use a switch on the plug.

Just usedt his light for a copule days during a charity event on public roads. The light is designed for the top of a truck, so the maximum reflection is angled down slightly. I had it on a car and this made the maximum reflection a little too low to get maximum effectiveness in the day time to other cars, might be a little better ona truck, but really not bright enough to be seen on a bright sunny day. However in over-cast weather or night-time this light is really bright and gets lots of attention. Used it in the rain and had no trouble. For the money, can't go wrong.

I thought these units projected a good beam, but they don't. The reflector has not been located at the best beam focus, so it does end up being a piece of plastic moving around a stationary lamp. Too bad, it has a good reflector.

Bought it for snow removal. The first night, the light bulb burnt out after just 9 hours of use. The second night i used it, the fuse blew after about 12 straight hours of use. After I replaced the fuse, I found out the the motor burnt out. Not good for me.

The one that I purchased would go through fuses. Manufactor needs to beef up the elictrical or some how figure this out before selling these.
