I used this tool to remove the freeze plugs from my engine project. It worked just fine, no issues with the hammer or the screw adapter that came in the kit. The screw (dent puller) stripped out, of course...but it wasn't meant for this application. I used some other screws that I had in the garage with no problem.

used to remove the outer axle bearings on my jeep, had no problems from it at all, i didnt hit it real hard either tho, i used a bunch of medium strength hits and it pulled the bearing right out, actually it even broke the old bearings.

I work in autobody repair and I have to provide my own tools, for this being a chinese made tool it works great, never had any problems.

I went to the store and made sure i checked it out and looked kinda if''y bought it cause i am rebuilding a rear end for my truck got it to help pull seals and rear axle bearing well hooked up everything and about 3 shots from the slide hammer popped the bearings right out worked very well on both sides. Deff need to improve on the holding case but all in all very well lil unit..

Purchased the tool to pull spindles off my fords. Owrked great for me and I slammed the hell out of it getting the spindles on the knuckle. It's really hit and miss with Harbor Freight Tools. Comes down to quality control. I happend to get a good slap hammer kit!

This is a 5lb slide hammer with several puller adapters. The dent puller adapter has a coupling that make the replacement of the screw easy and you can use lots of different screws in this adapter for pulling sheet metal dents etc.





The main threaded shaft is a 16mm 1.5 pitch metric thread. You can buy nuts in this size and make up your own puller head if you have a special job.





Several puller configurations can be made with the parts supplied. Blind seal and bearing hook, 2 and 3 arm hooks etc.





OK tool, not high tech but seems OK.

The paw that you mount to the wheel studs broke after the third use. The casting had a surface crack that worked for the first time. Then after warenty It broke.

I have broken 2 axle pullers so far. Returned the first one and exchanged it for another. Same result. They are make of cast instead of forged steel. Won't pull out a single axle without breaking. Don't buy this cheap imported junk.

I broke the fingers off first use.I have the same tool at work, that has been used for years. I think if I fabricate some finger up I could still salvage with a lot of time investment.
