I remodeled my entire house (2400 sq ft) using this for the baseboards. Using higher quality nails bought at a large home improvement store it never once jammed on me.
If you look at all the reviews its pretty apparent that the problems are coming from HF nails...not this gun.
This nail gun for this price is an unbelievable bargain.

The first project I used this on was a shelving system along the walls of my woodworking shop. I used it to attach 1x2"s to the 2x4 braces on the walls. I attached 36 8' 1x2's without a jam.

I used this nail gun in a small litle job and I drop it about 3 or 4 times from about 6 feet high. For sure I though it was broken and it proved me wrong becuase it continued to work like a champ nailing about 1000+ nails. I recommend this nail gun if you are looking for something effecient and efective.

I've have owned several more expensive "name brand" nailers and this nail gun performs just as well, if not better than all of the big name brands.

I've had this particular nail gun for over two years (and another like it for 10 years before it finally blew a gasket) and have shot many thousands of brads and staples through it and have never had any problems with it, period. It works best at 35-45 PSI depending on the materials and type fasteners you are working with.

I personally use Bostich brand coated fastners, although the few brads and staples that came with the gun also worked fine. I have nailed everthing from tough Hardie Plank Lap Siding to fine trim and moulding and it has worked flawlessly every time. No jams or mi-fires ever! You could'nt ask for or own a more reliable nailer, regardless of the price or brand, it's a real bargain.

For all you folks who have experienced jambing or mis-fire issues, here is a KEY rule that should prevent or resolve those problems...

Proper oiling and lubricating is VERY important! If you fail to oil air driven tools regularly, you are guaranteed to have problems sooner or later, regardless of the brand name or cost of the tool. The oil is the life of the tool. For trouble free operation, put a little oil in it before and during every job. It's that simple!

I would reccommend this tool to the occassional DIY'er as well as professional craftsmen for every day use.

We had a older model of a HF Brad nailer. Never worked right. I took a chgance and went out and bought this one and it works perfectly.

Works well, I use it to build and upholster speaker boxes. It has no problem sinking a 1 1/2" 18 gauge nail into mdf.

The safety mechanism locks up once in a while but it can be cleared if you pick it up and set it back down on the wood.

This gun was used to lay laminate flooring, install base boards, shoe molding, and window trim. Could also be used for installing crown molding. I recommend that you oil it before you use it for the day and use Bostitch nails.

I ordered this through the mail. Had to wait another day before i picked up the 1/3hp 3gal compressor from HF and it worked flawless. so far 4 small odd jobs. put some extra strength in in a bookshelf, table etc..Before i used it to work i ran a 100 clip of GripRite 2in brads through a 2x4 just to see if i would have any of the reported problems but none then did the same with half in brads and a mixed size box of staples through different types of wood i even waited 3 weeks before comment but it's a good buy!

Purchased last weekend. Used it with 1 1/4" brads last night and it works pretty well. Took me awhile to figure exactly how to load the nails (where on the track to put them), this is my first nailer. Works good so far!

I have used this product for over a year, I have ran 1000's of staples and brads through it. It has never jammed once! The only problem I had with this nailer, you must regulate the air pressure! It will blow "through" a 3/4" board if you do not. I bought a regulator attached to the inlet. It works great!
