I bought this because i don't have have an air compressor to run a regular air power impact plus being cordless was a plus. I use this to work on my car and so far have been happy i just need to order some extra batteries because i use it alot and it takes the battery 2 1/2 hours to charge. Its a great product and i did some research on other brands before making the purchase and so i knew that i was buying a quality tool at a cheap price. There are cheaper impacts out there And more expensive out there but this on is right now price and performance.

I purchased this impact wrench to remove the lugs on my truck and it does this with no problem.It takes them off quit fast,and at half the price of other impact wrenches. I would recomend this product to anyone.

I was surprised by its power. It easily loosened the wheel lug nuts that were torqued to about 90 ft-lbs. This is definitely a good substitute for an air impact. It was also able to loosen high torque suspension components as well. Just need to give it a couple of seconds.

The led light really doesn't contribute much. The wrench overall is a little on the bulky side.

As other reviewers have mentioned: It's a good idea to purchase a battery replacment for this tool. They're around $30 and you'll have to purchase them over the phone.

This tool is great I use it every day but u need to have an extra battery u need to call the oder line and ask for part number 13940 because they do not have it in stock at any store and battery is inexpensive

This thing is great, I am a mechanic and I use it all day long. The only problem I have with it is that there is only 1 battery. I hate having the battery die and then being stuck without it for 2 hours.

I was very pleased with the performance of this tool. On a fresh charge it broke free some very tight bolts (100 ft/lbs at least) and made quick work of Loc-tite'd driveline fasteners. I brought it with me to the junkyard to pull a rear diff that was mounted in a very complex IRS setup and it cut the typical removal time from 3 hours down to about an hour and a half. I am very happy with this tool, aside from a few little niggling things - it is far too easy to change the direction on the impact with my large hands, gloved or not. And it only comes with one battery - it really should come with two from the factory. I don't like the fact that you have to babysit the charging battery - a little extra circuitry could have prevented that. I would also suggest a vehicle DC charger for the batteries to make it truly portable.

Wiliam104 (see his review below) has it right: buy an extra battery over the phone (it's not available on HF website or in stores). When I asked why the stores don't carry this battery pack, they responded: "We would like to inform you that item # 13940 (BATTERY PACK 18V) is a part of item # 67845. Please be informed that our stores do not sell parts as they only sell complete item. Parts can only be ordered over the phone."

It gets the job done. I have used it countless times from changing wheels to tight areas where my regular full size Mil impact does not fit. Of course for tougher jobs it won't be enough but I have rarely had this happen and most of the time its due since I never fully charged it before doing heavier jobs. Its very durable as well, I have thrown it around countless times or thrown it out of the way and still works (Yes I have the extended warranty).

Overall I am very happy with this product and do not regret buying it.
