I bought two of these to orginize a bunch of heavy duty lathe tooling. and they hold up great. Each container holds 50lbs. A++++

I bought two of these and the lid clicks to lock open at ~45 degree angle. It would definitely be nice if it would lay completely flat but with a few items in the tray it doesn't overbalance and make it tip backwards.

As far as the sticker goes that everyone has complained about there's an easy trick I used to get it off with little effort. The sticker has a plastic layer on top that is easy to pull off with your fingernail, don't worry about getting the paper/glue off underneath this plastic layer just leave it. When the plastic layer is off liberally apply some Goo Gone to the paper sticker that remains and let it sit for ~45 min. The remaining paper should easily lift off the lid after this with no scraping at all. If it doesn't you didn't use enough Goo Gone.

I used some dish soap to scrub off the remaining Goo Gon so the top isn't oily feeling.

Got this one not thinking much about it and assuming it would not work too well. That is why I only got one. I am really disappointed... Not in the product but in myself. I should have bought 4 of these things. They are just the right amount of small, medium and large compartments to hold all the intricate parts for my Radio Controlled Car Hobby. The lid actually locks down fairly tight and none of the small parts end up co-mingling with the other compartments. In all a 5 star for its purpose and function.

As an electrician, I needed to find a container for screws, switches, plates, etc. I found these about four years ago and their great! I have ten of the 2" deep units and five of the 4" deep version. I have removed some of the bins to store special tools (like network crimpers/punch down tools with the cat5 connectors), and labeled the handles so that can be easily identified. Guys I work with think I am too organized, but it beats digging around in a bunch of coffee cans for different size screws. I even made a storage rack for the shop so I can stack them when I remove them from my service truck.

I use these bins to store varius small engine parts, They hold up great in warm, and Cold weather. Bins can be removed, and rearranged. Strong latches.

I was starting to accumulate a lot of different screws from various building projects and this was the perfect thing for them. One advantage that I didn't know about is that the larger bins are the perfect size to fit the smaller boxes of screws from the hardware store. It latches better than the tackle organizer I was using and also has a handle. This is the best sized parts organizer for my use that I have found.

Bought these and the two other sizes for work to store machine components, tools, and hardware. Got exactly what I expected and am very happy.

As others have noted, the HUGE label affixed to the clear top has me scratching my head. I knew this ahead of time from reading reviews so I didn't deduct anything. I still don't know why they wouldn't just put the label on the plastic, and if they had to, a small UPC label on the box for identification.

A tip for removing the label cleanly.... 1. There is a clear plastic film on the label (not the wrapping), peel it off. 2. score the top surface of the label a little. 3. Apply PB Blaster liberally and let it soak in for a minute or two. 4. Use a razor blade (Carefully and at a very shallow angle) or a plastic sharp putty knife to scrape up the label. 5. Wash with soapy water and/or degreaser.
