I had all my tools scattered around in my trunk, this box organized them nicely. I also like the top compartment storage for storing random little things. The top cover does come off easily though when you open the tool box, especially if you have a lot of stuff up top, so be careful opening it. I just have the top lean up against a wall or something, because everything will fall out if the toolbox is opened all the way. Beyond that, its a nice little tool box and should serve me well for many years.

bought this box to organize and store tie-downs for my trailer. holds alot, and is easy to find in the garage due to the bright yellow top when stored during the off-season. Good buy for the money.

I do body work and have one of this its really good to keep bolts and sand paper,also got this to keep my fishing stuff one of the bags came with an extra canvas tool bag didn't find out till I got home was going to return it but didn't want them to think I stole it so I end up keeping it but this box its really good for any emergency you may have

Just bought one of these yesterday for [$] plus the 20% off coop. It really needs another tray or two to keep things better organized. HF should sell extra trays or storage compartments made for this toolbox. I find the box to be fairly sturdy and everything snaps closed tightly. Keep in mind there is a label warning you not fill it with more than 50lbs of gear.

Being plastic I don't expect much, but it has worked so far as my additional toolbox for around the house. It probably wouldn't last long for an everyday work toolbox. I caught it on sale and used a coupon so I feel I got my moneys worth.

Recently purchased two of these to use for keeping Drill Press items organized. Top compartments are great for storing chuck keys, hex wrenches, Brushes and Counter Sinks, etc.





Tray is great for other things such as Boring Bars, Circle cutters, Spade drills, squares and other items to large for the top tray, but could easily get lost in the larger bottom compartment.





The bottom compartment is great for Sanding Drums, Drill Bit sets, small drill press vises, Hole Saw Sets, etc. The best part is that they can be stacked.





The reason for 4 stars, the boxes though relatively sturdy have side flexibility that requires care in closing, to make sure the top is properly lined up. While great for use in the shop, do not see them as sturdy enough to carry tools outside of the shop. This also limits the amount of weight that should be carried. They are great for storage, organization and other medium duty applications at a reasonable price.

Clear plastic top does not stay in place when box is opened. Results in all those little things you put there spilling out.
Yellow tool tray has large hole allowing items placed in try to fall into bottom of box.
Latches are a bit 'iffy' to close easily.
