bought this in spokane valley store used very little would not keep up with a little air hammer and when it was cold (below 40 F) in the garage it would not start,also had a hot smell every time it ran -oil level was fine but it quit and wont start again at all and the store will not do anything for me ....wasted my $$$

I have sprayed texture,paint and run air ratchets -it works well. You must have 117.5V or better line voltage or it will not start reliably. You can hook up another tank as I have(26 gal more) for air reserve and its almost like having a much more expensive compressor.

We buy most of our tools here, and are very happy. This compressor started right up, and then kept shutting itself off every 10 seconds- did all the troubleshooting with no change. Took it back to the Knoxville, TN store, but had lost my receipt. They could see it was brand new, so they replaced it with a new one, and said they were sorry for my inconvenience. I'm the idiiot that lost my receipt. GREAT service and attitude. I will be more careful with my receipts, but I will definitely keep buying my tools here.

What else can I say but, Great Value for the price. The equipment is only as good as the one that uses it.

My wife bought me one like this for Christmas only mine has a 8 gallon tank and 2HP motor. All I can find online is this one. I filled it with non-detergent oil and ran it a couple times, then changed the oil to get out all the metal shavings. Filled it back up to the proper level, then left it alone.





It blew the dust out of my computer pretty good and it inflated a completely flat tire up to 30 PSI in about 30 seconds with the vehicle weight still on it, then had enough air to fully inflate the other 3 tires on the car without cycling the pump again. I haven't had to add any oil yet, although I haven't used it much.





It works great for me, doing light duty auto mechanics and dust bunny removal. If you want something to run a paint gun or cutt-off tool, get something bigger. For basic home use, its worth the money.

use hf 3/8 and 1/2 air drivers with it and it works great. i used the 1/2 earth quake impact and accidentally rethreaded a cast iron block. whoops!! i am pretty sure it will not work with most spray guns or larger grinder although i use a 3'' hf grinder that works fine. i overfilled it with oil the first time i used it and it would kick on slow then die tripping breaker. i figured out that it was over full due to the oil check being decieveing. it was about 25deg also. drained some oil which i broke plastic oil bubble guage (fixed it with superglue) and once i got oil level right it runs great. this thing is fine for mechanic work being i have done a few large jobs with it. i really enjoy this.

I bought this 3 weeks ago and used it once the day i bought it worked great. 3 weeks later went to start it on a cold day 15 degrees f and it seems like the start up capacitor is bad, it runs slow for a few seconds and then the breaker pops.

Works well. No major issues with it. Only problem is, if you leave it full of air and turn it on after a day it trips the internal breaker. The unit resets, but you have to drain off some air and then it will start and work fine.

I'm happy with the results. It powers all of my air tools with no problems at all. H*** I'm trying to find more to throw at it but it's cold out and I'll just have to wait until the Spring. I'm happy with this purchase.
