I purchased my first one not expecting much. Instead...VERY IMPRESSED! I use these commercially in my business and am more than pleased. I've run 3 of them for 2 years now without a single issue. I run synthetic oil in them. Always start by the second pull....just remember to have the choke on.

I keep a spare one on hand ready to go as a replacement..

I'm replacing HONDA motors with these! Enough said.
IMO...this is one of the best products HF has to offer.

This is the best buy I can think of if you are in need of a new engine. The linkage connectors are already in place for throttle cable and this one needs no modification at all for direct replacement of Honda.

I replaced a worn Briggs on my old Troybilt rototiller. It bolted right up and fired right up on the first pull. This engine starts really easy and works great. It has a convenient fuel cut off switch right under the choke, so you can empty the carb when done using the engine.

I've bought 4 of these motors, an 11 hp, and 3- 7 hp. these motors are very good for go carts even the bigger carts.

I bought one of these motors as a replacement for my old HF log splitter after the original motor had been to the repair shop twice and still had the same problem after less than an hour usage each time. I was impressed with the Predator 13 HP that came on my HF generator and that influenced me to buy this one. I wasn't disappointed as it starts on the first pull and has ample power and is economical on fuel and quiet. Told my brother-in-law some 250 miles away about these motors and he bought one for his pressure washer and picked up another for me to replace the original on my roto-tiller.

I just replaced the engine on my MTD snow blower with this. Bolted right in place of the old Tecumseh that threw a rod threw the block. Started on second pull and runs very smoothly and is even quieter that the old one. The only obstacle I had was I needed to modify the heat shield on around the muffler to fit in next to the post that holds my chute controls in place because I have the controls on the dashboard. This is actually the second motors like this I have because I have a HF generator with this exact motor on it and it runs perfectly with no problems at all.

bought this yesterday to replace a 5 hp b/s on a weedeater tiller (rear tine counter rotating). took about 25 min to switch , put oil and gas in it, and 2 pulls it was running. used the tiller for close to 2 hrs right out of the box, engine is a huge improvement over the b/s. i don't understand why anyone would give this engine any less than 5 stars. i'v been a small engine mechanic for 25 years and so far i'm impressed with the performance. mount it correctly to a flat surface change the muffler if it gets in the way and you will be happy with your purchase.

I bought one last fall and have put it on my go kart that i built. It can pull me around at 25 mph easily even though the kart weighs 180 pounds and another 120 for me. I have a 12 tooth clutch and a 45 tooth sprocket on the wheel and the wheel is 10 inch diameter. i have been using it all winter with no problems and it starts with one pull every time if you use the choke. this is a great engine and you wouldn't get more from a similar one costing $300.
