I've had this for about a year, put simple green mixed with gun oil and use it to clean carbon out of those hard to reach spots on guns, then rinse them off with denatured alcohol.

A disassembled pistol will fit in it and I've also used to help get the ever frustrating carbon off of AR bolt bodies.

It heats up on its own when in use, but also has a temp. control to speed up the process. Remember not to run it dry.

This ultrasonic cleaner appears to be identical to the one sold by the popular shooting supplies manufacturer that costs over twice as much. I bought the ultrasonic cleaner and the five pound tumbler on sale with 20% coupons for less than the cost of the other suppliers ultrasonic product alone. I use lizard litter and Nu-Finish in the tumbler. The brass cleaned and polished using the combination of the two items looks brand new and actually has a smooth silky feel to it. I would buy these two items again in a heart beat.

This unit is identical to a name brand sonic unit for reloading.I use a mixture of vinegar and dishsoap with distilled water. and a rinse with baking soda.Fired brass comes out looking like new. I have cleaned thousands of cases.

This machine works very well. I have used it over and over cleaning motorcycle Carburetors . I also clean my eye glasses and jewlery in it aswell. Biggest thing is make sure you find a good solution. I use simple green for everything i clean in it. I had shattered the case on my cleaner by dropping a motorcycle part on it wile puting it into the machine . I glued and taped it back together and it still works as good as new.

We Use this everyday in our music repair shop. This little guy get beat on DAILY. Especially when our shop gets slammed with Brasswinds. This thing will run full 480 second Cycles for 8-10+ hours solid. We clean the slides, and valves in this with Citranox, or muriatic acid diluted. Sometimes even disgusting saxophone keys (Pads and all). I was thinking about getting one for home to clean my reload brass.

I use this to clean my spent brass for reloading and to clean and degrease gun parts. For it work properly,however, you need to use the right cleaning solution. I use Hornady Ultrasonic Cleaner for brass and Hornady Ultrasonic Cleaner for gun parts. Simple Green also works well. I have seen reviews on this machine that are negative, saying that it does not work and they are not using any cleaning solution. That's like washing your hands with just water and no soap. The ultrasound provides the mechanical scrubbing (like rubbing your hands together) and the cleaning solution acts as the solvent. Just make sure the tray is in place or you will burn out the transducer and it will not work.

I had a small 4 clcye Honda carburetor that was plugged. I had a new gallon of the best NAPA carb dip and soaked the carb overnight. The generator still ran very poorly and wouldn't idle after cleaning. Someone suggested that I try the ultrasonic cleaner. Long story short, I did, it woked very well with only a 5 minute trip to the cleaner. This is what I'll use for these small 4 stroke carbs from now on. P.S. The HF crew in Appleton WI are the best. They made me feel like a special customer, showed me the benefits if the Inside Track Club and saved me money with my purchase. I'm not used to that kind of service. Great Job.

I clean all jewelry, silver, my nightguard, and anything small enough to fit in this unit. I've loved the outcome every time. Those who've received it say they love it too. Cleans great for my use and I've had no trouble at all with it. It's 3 years old. I use a tiny drop of dish soap in the water.
