It does a Terrible Job cutting thru small Metal wood screws ......

Fell apart in same manner as described by other reviewer. I had only been cutting medium-weight plastic for less than a minute. Blade is connected to mount by tiny nubs. Blade needs to be welded to mount or better yet, should be a single, monolithic piece.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

It picked up this blade and the 1-1/8" Bi-Metal Multi-Tool Reduced Shank Plunge Blade Warrior - item#68911 to attempt to cut 1/4" underlayment around base cabinets to install laminate flooring. The half moon blade and the HF multi tool did the job, almost. I must have ran into a staple and the blade pinched just enough to rattle comletely apart! The inside hub is held on by four tiny little blobs/rivets. I tried to spot weld the cutter back together and it worked for a little longer but came apart.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
