Great knife at a great price. All ceramic knives are fragile, don't know about this one yet. Out of the box, great product for an unheard of price. As nice as some that cost five times as much.

I too was very happy with this knife, purchased the other two sizes as well. A super product at a great price.


The main reason for this review my 3" knife broke at the handle. I found by using a two part epoxy glue forcing it into the handle with a tooth pick and left to dry it's almost as good as new.


I also found the blade can be sharpened using a tool with a diamond disc.

I got my #" knife as a Christmas gift this year and I was so surprised as to how sharp it really is! I love ti and as soon as I can i'm going to go and get the other 2 knives HF has, I pride myself on how sharp my reg Kitchen knives are but this little thing beats me hands down as to how sharp it is! I've cut myself on duff knives so many times it's not funny so i like to keep all my knives nice and sharp, for a sharp knife is a safe knife.

I use these on my ocean going boat for all kinds of tasks inside and out and I'm very satisfied with them. No rust problems and they stay sharp so far.

As others have said, very sharp. Holds up in the dishwasher. I have purchased multiples based upon the merits of the first one. None have been disappointing.

I loved it so much that I'm going to give a few away for Christmas . It amazed me how sharp and how great they cut through Potatoes

I bought this knife for the novelty. Boy, was I surprised! It is the sharpest thing I've ever had in my kitchen. Cuts through green pepper skins like they were hot butter. I can slice from inside or outside any fruit and it slides right through. I'm getting the 6 inch as soon as I can get to HF to get it.

Doesn't feel sharp to the touch, but don't let that fool you. Barely touched my thumb when cutting veggies and split my thumb to the meat. Didn't even know I cut it till it bled. Real sharp. Excellent value

This thing cuts so much better and stays sharper longer than any other knife I've owned. Quite a good price for it as well, considering what these are going for in the stores and on the internet. Is it really sharp? Yeah, I accidentally cut my thumb while cutting veggies. I've done this before with metal knives, but this ceramic knife made a clean cut like a paper cut. The cut sealed faster as well! Go figure! Sharp? I would say so.

Can you say SHARP ! I mean it, be careful. I have a ton of other kinds of knives, but now this is my absolute favorite, I liked it so much, we went back to the store and bought the 5 inch one too. They didnt have anymore of the three inch knives left. Im a lefty too.. and it doesnt matter...use either hand, it cuts effortlessly. Worth more than we paid. Just be careful not to cut you, or drop it or its a gonner. Nice rubbery grip too ( good thing, for obvious reasons).
