I did not have a valve cover gasket. I needed this to use instead of a gasket. Worked like a champ.

I purchased this to repair a gasket or seal on my work vehicle between the oil pump and oil cooling unit. So far it has lasted a week and no leaks, this is much more affordable than the $33 gasket from the auto parts store. Although this product is a little messy it works very quickly and holds a great seal under high temperatures. I have bought a similar gasket seal made by the same company for a water pump. I was only able to use the tube once due to the metal tubing cracking when squeezing it out. This allows the fluid inside to dry out no mater how you store it. This is a much larger amount and tube. I hope I can use it again in the future.

I used this stuff to replace a broken or missing wrist watch rubber gasket. The watch is sealed and is not leaking. Also this stuff dries soft so you can still reopen the watch when needed.
