I have had this model since 2006. Works great if you put seal conditioner/stop leak in it after you use it a few times even if it dont leak. after that you wont have any problems until you have already got your moneys worth out of it. I have replaced the same seal 3 times in six years but still works well. used at least 2 times a month

This product would be great if it would just last. I purchased one a few years back and have gone thru 2 replacement rams. The hoist itself is only warrantied for 90 day and thats just about how long it will go before it fails.

Do yourself a favor and buy the more expensive larger one, it has an 8 ton ram instead of the 3 ton that fails.

I bought this hydraulic jack to replace the original one in my 1990's HF shop crane. The jack worked great until about 2 months later when the cylinder to base seal started to leak hydraulic fluid. Now it leaks an entire quart in just one night! It's a great jack if you enjoy bleeding jacks and topping the fluid off before every use, but if you want something that requires little maintenance, look elsewhere.
