i have used this cabinet to blast a bunch of parts on a truck i am building for a good dust collectin system i used a dust deputy between cabinet and wet dry vac to keep the filter clean and it worked great and the gun is not the best upgrade it to skat blast gun and put a bag in your vac

Awesome Blast Cabinet. Use the hel out of it, ge price, use the 6 doller bag of 30 fine grit sand and it has worked awesome. Use a Shop Vac with it.

Took forever to get someone at Harbor Freight to find out IF I could get replacement parts after the blast gun split up the back after a year of use.

This cabinet works great! I had to elevate it little for comfort and did attach a small shop-vac to the left side which really helps in keeping the view clear.

Replacement parts can be obtained by calling 1800444-3353 give them model number 93608 I will list a few part numbers. 36 ceramic nozzle's, 49 protective film (front door), 29 gloves (pair), 2 glass (front) 25 abrasive gun. YOU NEED TO KEEP YOUR PAPER WORK TO ORDER PARTS! I have used this for years with no issues!

The cabinet is a good value, works well, the only complaints are the lamp burned out the second day of use, the cabinet leaks quite a bit. The worst problem is... there aren't any replacement parts available for it, The nozzle has worn out after 10 - 11 hours, and I can't get a replacement.

Sturdy enough, and fine for use - IF you are aware of the following:

#1 - BEFORE assembling, go Google "USA Cabinet Gun & Pickup Tube Upgrade Kit" - and buy and install that. The gun that comes with the cabinet is pretty bad according to many, and this kit fixes that AND the pickup tube...

#2 - SEAL, SEAL, SEAL - Use a LOT of silicone DURING assembly, everywhere - on the gaskets, and EVERY screw/nut/washer. Remove the screws holding the light on, and seal those too. Sounds like overkill, but you will be surprised at the amount of media that makes its way out of the cabinet if you don't seal it up.

#3 - Optional - It helps to get a HF air gun, a tee, a few feet of hose, and hose barbs - put the air gun in the cabinet with the new gun so that you can clean the pieces (and inside of door before opening). You'll thank yourself later.

I've had the cabinet for a few months now, and would buy it again, of course with the caveats above.

I have been using this unit for two years (approx 40 hours) and it has held up. It was sealed well from the factory and the finish was decent. The assembly was kind of a pain, especially the legs on the far corner of the inside of the unit. The suction type system is not as powerful as a pressure system however I'm sure that would greatly increase the price. I would also like a much easier to remove window since I use heavy grit which requires frequent polishing, and films for the unit are not available. Only other complaint is that I "nudged" the unit once when it was full of media and one of the legs partially buckled. However it is relatively easy to strengthen them.

My biggest issue is the dust that gets everywhere. I have the HF dust reclaimer installed on this unit and it does a great job with visibility inside the cabinet.

I did use the included seal that came with the cabinet but it does a mediocre job with sealing. Some RTV may be the answer.

I highly recommend a water filter/separator and using a compressor that can maintain at least 90 psi. Without a filter the nozzles will clog!

I also have aproblem with the media returuning to the inlet.Been thinking about it some,going to clean cabinet out completely and then try spraying the inside with rain -x to see if this will help the media slide back down to the pick up tube.Some of the bigger cabinets use a viberator to get the media to slide.So if the rain-x don't work going to try to find something that viberates.
