I like this magnet, and am about to buy more. I've used it all over my shop for all kinds of projects, I even tied a string to it to find a screw I dropped in the grass and a nail in the gravel driveway! I have a welder I've been looking at for a year now and will be using these for a few projects that I have in mind!

This magnetic holder is no joke. Holds super strong. I'm having hard time getting it off my go kart framing job. Returning for a lighter job magnetic holder.

I liked these magents i wouldnt recommend them for lifting but if you get two magents and put a piece of angle iron through the v looking part you could make a pipe welding jig.

I bought two of these magnets and the plates are not aligned with each other. I put a 24 inch framing square on each plate and they were an half inch off over just two feet of distance. If you build any thing with these magnets it will be seriously racked.
