Curious to see if this will post as the one I wrote a month ago didn't. If you insist on buying this, use some heavy gloves or your tire and palm will have a puncture.

Comments about 9 Piece Tubeless Tire Repair Kit:

Bought two of these kits for emergency kits that I was putting together for my vehicles. I thought surely this would do the job at least once, in case of an emergency...I was wrong. Luckily I was home when I was making this repair, and while attempting to push the plug into the tire, the handle snapped, causing a nice cut. I tried the second one a little more cautiously, but had the same results. I'll be looking for a heavy duty tool for the next time. Still love HF, but this kit is dangerous and more than likely won't get the job done when you need it.

Tool broke where it holds the piece that goes in the tire as well as the handle snapped off. Lucky it didn't go straight into my palm (was wearing leather gloves). This one needs to go back to the drawing board.

                  Great for some punctures

Comments about 9 Piece Tubeless Tire Repair Kit:

Can't use this for sidewall punctures (or ones very close to sidewall), or after you've driven on a flat tire for a while, which ruins it. But for a standard nail or screw puncture in the tread, which you notice before driving on the tire while flat, this method works great. Combined with a cheapo 12V air pump, it's almost as easy as putting on a spare tire.

Must have tool for every vehicle - instructions

Comments about 9 Piece Tubeless Tire Repair Kit:

This repair system can be use with inflated or deflated tires, deflated work best though. To use this tool first remove the screw or nail, vise grips work great for this. Next take the file tool with the rough edge and push it through the hole to clean it up and make it uniform. Find the right direction and make sure to follow the original hole with the file. Don't force the file in the wrong direction or you could make a second hole which makes plugging very difficult and the tire may require a patch at that point. After the hole has been chased with the file then place the repair strip right in the middle of the opening in tool, coat it with rubber cement, and push it into the hole in the tire 2/3 of the way. Then twist and remove the installation tool. To finish cut the repair strip flush with the outside of the tire. The repair strip protruding inside of the tire does not need to be cut and should probably be left alone.

I've used this kit to fix 4 different tires.

Nails and screws are everywhere and are the major cause of flat tires.

With this and a pair of vice grips it only takes about 15 minutes to remove the

screw or nail and fix the tire.
