I got this jack on sale and for the money it can't be beat. I received mine and had no problems, didn't have to bleed it or anything, just put it together and went to work. its lifted up everything i've thrown at it, and while it dosen't do it in the 5 pumps it says it dosen't matter to me, as i see that it gives me more control with pumping it more then the 5 it clames. i use it on cars, riding mowers and used it to mount my buddies 54in tractor tires on his tractor and worked without a hitch. would recommend to anyone who is looking for a good affordable jack.

Worked perfect, right out of the box. Didn't see a need to "bleed" it. Used it to lift the entire front, then entire rear of a '01 Suburban 4x4 while doing a brake/rotor job (using jack stands also). Also used it to r/r a fuel tank from '07 Trailblazer, made it easy.
I couldn't ask for anything better for the price, its great.

I'm an experienced mechanic and use this at my house for over two years now.I Couldn't be more pleased with it.I don't mind the weight of the unit as it is of heavy duty construction and is capable of lifting twice as much weight as my old school sears jack.The handle operates more smoothly and precise than other jacks that I have used in professional shops.

I don't have any real complaints about this floor jack. It has plenty of power and is low enough to use on my wife's Monte Carlo. It takes more pumps than what it claims, but that's not an issue for me. It is heavy, which is good in my mind and makes me more confident in it.

I use this jack all the time. Always works. This is the secound jack in my shop. I bought the four ton some years ago from HF and stil works very good. I have never had a problum returning anything to HF. There always helpful and will exchange or refund your money. Try that with a "Major Brand" see what they say.

This is a quality floor jack! I've owned mine for 1 year and it never let me down. When I first bought it, Just to test it, I jacked up the front of my car and just let it sit, it held it for HOURS without moving an inch. Buy it....

This jack is the best. I bought it 2 years ago with a coupn, and it has never let me down. I use it weekly to lift vans, passenger cars, and whatever else that needs be jacked. Its been left outside, snowed on, dug out of the snow and used right away, and dropped out of a truck. And it works as well as the day I took it out of the box. All I've had to do is oil the wheels and pivots cuz they squeeked after the snow incident.
My only "gripes":
It take a while to life some cars, since the only jack point they give you is way under the car. So you can't give the handle more than like 15% travel. And this thing is HEAVY. But the all steel build makes it cheap and tough, so I don't mind. Just be careful if you have to pick it up.

I bought this jack after doing a lot of online searches and reading all the reviews of several models and brands within this price range. So far I've used the jack fo oil and tire rotations and it has worked flawlessly. I'm very happy with the purchase. Yes, this thing is heavy...but if you aren't traveling with it, who cares! I feel much better knowing I have a heavy, durable jack than a lightweight trolley jack that are popular these days. It has worked great on both a 2008 Honda accord and a 2008 Toyota tacoma. Don't forget your jack stands!

Been looking for a good floor jack for quite awhile to lift my 1999 Dodge 1500. Read all the reviews and decided to go with this one even though I really wanted an aluminum jack (lightweight) cause I'm over 60 and don't want to pull a muscle. It was packaged pretty well and I worked through the checkoff list before I put it to the test. Everything checked out and it lifted the whole side of my truck with relative ease. I didn't count the number of 'pumps' as that is a petty issue as far as I'm concerned. It got the truck up plenty high for jacks stands. I don't think you can beat the price when it is on sale at HFT. I checked all the automotive stores for an equivelent and there is nothing even close. I also picked up the extended warranty and it is still the best deal around. The only negative thing I could say is that the handle assembly is not quick connect but that is a pretty minor issue.
