Since the unit is for the larger cartridges, you'll need to eat your Wheaties to pull the plunger all the way back to load it. I put the body in a vise so I could get a good grip on the plunger, but then it was easy. Gotta get the air out vis-á-vis the bleeder. I also struggled to get the fitting to let loose of the Zerk fitting. Overall, a good value. Beats the tar, err grease, out of the little mini gun I've used for the past 30 years. cobra427sc

Purchased product in hopes of replacing my traditional gun. This air grease gun seeps out the very expensive grease I loaded into. Leaks from air bleed valve o-ring. Leaks from underside of cartridge plunger. Leaks grease from tip even after use. Grease is mostly wasted from the poor construction and assembly of unit. Too late to return to store. I have to store it in a heavy sealed plactic bag to contain leaking grease. Never will recommend this product to other professional mechanics...

No problem once you get the grease to where the air will push it

        By Tim Oakes

Comments about Central Pneumatic Air Grease Gun:

Bought one of these and 2 grease cartridges after I used my friends to grease my pickup. I was a litle hesitant after reading some of the reviews. Put a cartridge in and followed the directions and could not get it to pump grease no matter how many times I tried to bleed the air pocket out. Turned it upside down and shook it a few times like you would a bottle of ketchup to make sure the grease was down against the head, squeezed the trigger,.. it worked perfectly...For the money you cant beat it.

Comments about Central Pneumatic Air Grease Gun:

I have used this and it works great after figuring out how to set it up. I don't know how to get the cartridges to fit either. I had to put the grease in by scooping it out. I only ever grease my one truck, so I haven't worn it out. Mine pumps out the grease with ease.

Works good for me with cartridge grease (14oz)

        By Ed

        from Undisclosed

Comments about Central Pneumatic Air Grease Gun:

I bought my modle 00219 over 10 years ago and it worked great with standard 14 oz grease cartridges. It has quit working because I have worn out the plunger, item 14, on the owners manuel. I have contacted Harbor freight Technical and they

have ordered a new plunger. That is a lot better than SEARS. They don't have parts available for any of the Craftsman or other grease guns they carry.
