Well being retired and waiting a life time to spend the $$$ on a real compressor. I finally broke down and bought one that fills the bill for me at a doable price. I've always used a portable and we know how that works. Fast delivery even with a small glitch. Appears to be a reliable product and I'm impressed with it's function as I just finished plumbing it in. If it performs like I think it will my work and vast amounts of projects "log home, boat, camper and everything else that keeps me out of the bars just got easier. Bottoms up to Harbor Freight!

This is a very powerfull compressor. It was noisy when I first fired it up, but the drive belt was the cause. I had to cut one of the bars out of the guard to get the right belt tension, but now it runs quiet and strong. I have had to regulate the pressue down to keep from tearing things up with my earthquake.

I use this compressor in my home shop... I use it heavily 4+ days a week. It is flat awesome a for auto repair. Air ratchets, impacts, grinders even my air trans jack it will run easily and with out turning on too often. It will kick on at about 120 psi and fill to 160 in about a min.
When I use it with a air grinder it will keep up but will run. I am talking about steady use of the grinder. I mounted it with a CH mounting kit and it made it quieter and safer.

You need about 90 to 100 pounds to sandblast. You could sandblast small things for a solid minute or so and if you let it recycle you could do this for a while. But you couldn't sandblast for a solid 5 minutes it wouldn't hold air.

I have had this compressor for approximately 1 year, it is used very hard daily in my auto repair business. For automotive pneumatic tools this unit has no problem keeping up with the demand, it has not given 1 problem since it has been plugged in. I would recommend this to anyone who has moderate to heavy use for a compressor.

I`ve had this compressor for about 4yrs. and it works flawlessly. Granted It`s not in a repair shop but in my personal garage. It cranks out no matter what time of year and keeps up with my die grinder, impacts and air ratchets.


Good Buy and alot cheaper than an IR or Craftsman.

I have owned this compressor for three years now and have had absolutely no problems with it. I use the air to run my tools two or three times per week, and this thing can keep up with even the greedier tools! I am no expert on this type of machinery, but as your average Joe Homeowner, I would recommend this unit to any homeowner in need of a 16CFM compressor for their shop/garage ...
