Was pretty sceptical at first purchase, but it showed its' true colors after the 750th rivet. No leaks, didn't adjust a single thing, same results as if it were just unpacked. I'd say good design but the only thing i would change is the rear stem catcher pretty useless; just remove it and get just about the same results.

Please believe me when I tell you this is and excellent gun, even if it would cost 3 times as much. I am a body shop manager at a tractor, truck dealership and 5 bodyman have abused this gun for 2 years and it still works great.If you ever looked at how many rivets are on a big rig then you know we have propably used this tool more than anyone! Advice to buyers, use correct air pressure and DO NOT GO CRAZY ON AIR TOOL OIL! Alot of bodyman put oil in there air tools every time they use them, BIG MISTAKE!! I still have all the air tools I started out with and have been using them for years, a little oil will do ya!

I am a diesel mechanic and got the 1/4" riveter for work on trailers mostly. Have not used it a lot, but when I do it is usually 1/4 stainless rivets and with 1-2 trigger pulls its done. the catcher on the back is nice as well. Sure does beat using a hand riveter. Very happy so far with this product.

I used the 1/4" air hydraulice riveter with 3/16" rivets and had no problems at all. The tool works very well. The rivets it set are solid and tight. Hands down one of the best tools I've ever bought at HF.

I'm a Trailer mechanic I use this tool alot.It has not let me down once.The company that I worked for went and bought 4 of them and are just as happy as I am.Very good tool for the price

If it wasn't for the need to install 1/4" rivets when replacing the plywood flooring in my aluminum boat I don't think I would have purchased this air riveter. Now that I have it I don't know why I waited do long to buy one. This is my new favorite air tool. The only thing I don't like is the location of the air inlet; if the hose is at all twisted it wants to fall over.

I used this riveter to install around 300 3/16" diameter rivets. It got the job done without a hitch. I wouldn't even know where else to find one of these locally. Thanks Harbor Freight.

this is a very nice tool to have over your hand rivet gun. will pop all rivets. aluminum,steel and stainless steal. i must add you should always put a few drops of oil in it befor each use. the nail holder will throw the nail if held right, but just put a peice of tap over the hole and youll be good to go! cheap for the tool but veru nice quality!

No joke! I giggled the first time I squeezed the trigger on this thing. I felt like I was cheating.


I am restoring a 1962 18' Texas Maid aluminium ski boat and needed to pop a few 1/4" diameter X 3/8" long rivets so I purchased this riveter. You can literally, or in this case, physically, use your pinky finger. It is comical cause it is so easy.


My friend came over a few days later and I let him try it and guess what, he giggled too.


Excellent purchase.

I have two of these at my shop where they see constant use. We purchased this riveter because we took on a project that required about 2000 stainless steel rivits we. It works better than our "huck" riviter which is about a grand new. Only complaint is the spare parts that were included with the gun had different threads
