I had already owned the elect model when the pneumatic came out. Since getting this one I can't remember when I last used the elect one.

It has tons of well known uses and I recently found another use that paid for the tool 100 times over.

I had to remove/replace a cracked 4in ABS inlet pipe (that was 90% submerged) in a septic tank. Due to the proximity of the top of the tank a handsaw or pipe cutter would not fit in.

Obviously any type of elect tool could not be used. And if the pipe was inadvertently damaged farther into the tank ----- the tank would have to be pumped and line dug up. (the tank was pumped 4 months ago)

After pondering my fate and relishing the thought of being elbow deep in a septic tank I remembered the little "Oskolating" tool.

With the round saw blade installed the tool fit into the narrow space and zipped through the pipe in a few minutes with no problems from sewage or methane gas.

Truly a life saver...!

This has to be one of the handiest tools I own. I am remodeling a 100 year old home and I can't tell you how many uses I have for this tool, absolutely awesome. Also, being an air tool limits the chances of burning up like the electric tools. I use mine almost daily for something.





A tool that was long overdue. Very, very handy .....

I was a little concered about all the reviews I read about the Elec. tools the brushes- getting hot- stop working- with this air tool it seems to have done way with these problums I set up a board with hard wood dowles and used the saw as a flush cut saw and also oak 1/4'' banding it worked like a charm I also used it to trim out the plastic trim on our patio door [ that our dogs broke ] an best of all it uses all the blades the elect. models use I only gave this a 5 star rating becase they don't have 6 stars If you have air this is the way to go

an amazing tool! had to do some wood cutting under
cabinets with very litte room,couldn't get the electric version under there,it worked great!

This is a great tool to have around. Many, many uses. The only thing to be aware of, is that at full throttle this uses a lot of air. I only have a 20 gallon compressor and it empties out super fast when using this tool.

Good heft, comfortable to use, seems well suited to my intentions of very light work. Have only had tool for 1 week, but i am writing to warn others of my mistake, in reading users reviews of Multifunction tools on HF, I read that *** blades would fit the unit, that may be true of the electric uints but the blades do not fit the air model so you better go ahead and order your blades from HF when you order this tool. Otherwise you will be like me and will only be able to sand for the first 2 weeks.

This is a reliable tool and does mostly what it says it will. However, the blades will dull quickly if cutting harden steel; it's best suited for softer metals. The concrete and sanding accessories work well as depicted.
