I have two of these lights, one for over a year and I love them. Very reliable and always charged. I really like the feature that lets you charge it all the time and you dont have to worry about over charging. Very durable, dont hesitate.

This is a great light to keep in my truck. The pistol grip is nice, and the housing is durable. Also it has replaceable bulbs which my previous emergency halogen light did not have.

I keep it hanging outside on my deck for night observation of animals. Its exposed to weather but has never had a problem yet. For those who have a charging problem, did you try both the AC adapter and the car cord? One may be bad. Considering the cost, if you're in need of a AC adapter or car cord that in itself is a good buy. If you expect it to turn night into day, go to NASA and see where they buy their lights.

This things is light and works as well as my THOR Cyclops for 25% of the cost and a 10th the weight.
I use this around the ranch and it works great - no complaints!
I like the fact you can't over charge it and I keep it in my ranch truck for emergencies - the cigarette lighter adapter is a bonus!

The spotlight that I have had for over 10 years finally kicked the bucket & I found out that a new battery for it cost just as much as a new spotlight so the search was on.They only had 1 of the original spotlights that was made by Gordons,it was alot heavier than the new ones made by Western Safety and I wondered why.They both looked the same so I went with the Gordon because that was the one that the reviews I had read was about.The reason it was heavier,I didn't know this until I got home,is it has the Sealed lead acid battery instead of the Li-ion.My old sportlight was sealed lead acid & it lasted over 10 years so time will tell I reckon.I plugged it in to charge it up and got to wondering if it was automatic charge like it said in the operator's manual,it was and when the indicator light went off I unplugged it and checked it out.It will take 3 or 4 charge and discharge cycles to get a full charge ,all rechargeable batteries are like that.Seems to work alright for a spotlight that is 5 times as cheap as my old spotlight,time will tell on the battery charge time as well as life of the battery.For this price,it can't be beat.I'm thinking about buying another just to see what the difference is between the sealed lead acid battery and the Li-ion battery.Another great purchase at Harbor Freight.

When I bought this, I wasn't expecting much for the price, but Wow! It is bright, well built, rechargeable two different ways. It has both a car adapter and a home plug. When I point it down the street, it lights up the whole block! I can now chase away the neighbor's pesky cat who keeps taking a dump on our property :)

I had another version of rechargeable light that had a lead battery that I used for years. This one will last much longer. I have used it for over 20 minutes continuously and the beam never faded. It is not quite as bright, but a good light none the less. I wish it had a second LED beam for the times I do not need quite as bright of a beam. That is one feature my other light had which I miss. It is very handy to have a light charged up and always ready for use.

Just picked this up and have to say I was pleasantly surprised on how bright it was. It was just [$], so I wasn't looking for high quality, but something to throw in the boat as a backup. It lights up the sky perfectly. At home I could light up the trees and light up the block. I really haven't seen how long the charge works, but so far it hasn't disappointed. For [$] it's worth it, however my only complaint so far is that you cannot charge it and use it at the same time. You should be able to have it plugged in while you use it! Other than that, it was [$] well spent I think!
