I got tired of always buying 6V batteries for my lantern. This is a great idea and has many good features. I use it pretty much like a flashlight so I don't know how many hours it lights. Seems to hold a charge a long time, though.

I have one of these lights I use in the garage, so if I need to see somehting under the hood at night or in a dark place simple and easy. I liked it so much I bought another for my car...hadn't used it for a year it was still in the package...Got a flat, I live in NW Ohio so my truck gets cold...I figured no way, but I had to try I needed the light...not plugged in for over a year and it worked fine...how can you beat that? Now every vehicle I have has one in it...Do your self a favor get this light! Power goes off at home, head to the garage and get the light...really it is that good!!!

A good light. I would recommend it to someone that was gentle on tools. It's not "cheap" per se, but it isn't a solid piece. The magnet it strong, but the base is too narrow if you wanted to use it on...say...a tractor. Good worklight overall.

Charges from your car or home. Bulbs dont burn out. Very portable. Magnetic base is good for working on cars. Will get you a lot of light when the power goes out. I have two of them that I can alternate between charges. What else can I say?

This light is the gretest light I have owned yet. Didnt care for all th hooks it comes with, but hey were very easily removed. Magnet holds great. I use this ligt in my Tow truck at night. Left it stuck on the bed and drove 35 miles up the interstate and it stayed in place. Screws keep coming loose, but vry simple to retighten them.


Recommend this light to anyone.

I bought this light on sale a couple of weeks ago, and it works great so far, I would recomend this light to anyone, as for the 2 hours of use on a charge, thats wrong, mine lasted 3 hours, once again another great tool from HF

so far it worked great and EVEN took a recharge more than once...i have used it in a garage so it has had so abuse and i have had it for over a year.

So far this light is serving me well. The magnetic base is lacking a little though. One potential use I had for this was to stick it to the side of the car while changing a tire in the dark. It just barely sticks and any sort of bump to the car causes it to fall off. The extra hooks for horizontal use are a nice feature and having both AC and 12v adapters is a plus as well.

Have had this ~4 years. Works well but on full power never lasted more than 10 minutes. The bottom magnet pulled out of its recess a while back and I had to epoxy it in a couple times. I recharge this every six (6) weeks or so to keep the battery cycled. There are better units out there but this is fine -- wait for a sale though....

Very bright, lasts way more than that 2 hours they say it lasts.





Could be way more durable than it is. My mechanic dropped his twice and twice he had to have an electrician solder the charging pin back in.





I don't go for the "But hey, it was cheap" theory people mention on here. Things used to be reasonably priced and hold up under normal wear and tear. it was called Quality. Remember?
