I got two pistons installed after many, many tries before one of the bands broke. This is junk.

This thing is so cheaply made it should not even be on the shelves for consumers. Besides the cuts you get from the thin metal sleeve, I spent more time trying to fix it then sliding pistons in cylinders. The band springs just pop out like a jack in the box. and you cannot get it tight enough to compress the rings. Total Garbage. Save your money and buy a real compressor.

Terrible. Went to use it and broke the oil ring on my engine. Band looked like it was warped or something. Purchased it a while back, too late to return it now. Will definitely invest in a more expensive band compressor set instead of this old butterfly style.

This ring compression tool is not very good. It is hard to tighten down on the rings and the ratchet lever bends easily.
