18 Oz. Arctic Freeze Refrigerant with Dispenser and Gauge

I converted my 240SX to 134A 2 years ago. Needed to replace the drier.
I saw this system and liked what I saw and gave it a shot.
I vacuumed it down with the HFT air operated, sixteen buck, evac tool then added this and another 12oz of 134A.
It's COLD in my car now!! So that's why I recommend this product. Has oil, acid and moisture reducer already in it.
If you need a squirt, get this!! It works!!

The A/C in my 98 Nissan Frontier hadn't worked for 3 years. I decided to replace the broken line (the reason that it wasn't working) and then I needed to charge it. I had a hose and a gauge, but they were 50 miles away and I really wanted to feel the cold now. I had seen this product at other stores and did some online shopping and HF had it on sale and they were the cheapest so I ran down to my local store.
Buy this and it is just about all you will need.
The instructions are good.
The gauge is useful and it can be adjusted to account for ambient air temp.
It's 18 ounces instead of 12 ounces like most cans. I have seen some sellers that sell it in a 14 ounce size, so don't be tricked. My truck needs 24 ounces for a full charge, but it's running pretty cold on just 18 ounces. Remember that I had just replaced a line so mine had zero charge when I started. HF also sells the 12 ounce cans of this product (no hose) if you need more than 18 ounces. The hose and gauge are reusable and can be screwed on to any standard 134a can in the future.
It has the oil, leak stop and moisture eliminator in it too.
There is a tech support number on the can 888-318-5454. They can probably answer more of your questions.
If you don't use all the product at one time, will it leak out of the half used can over time?
This was the easiest A/C charge I've ever done. You will spend this much money for a couple of standard 134a cans with no hose. You might as well get the good stuff that is easy to put in.

OK... it did the job and I'm happy I didn't have to have this done in a shop. The product worked and I feel it was money well spent - except for one thing. I was recharging a Chevy Traverse, and the low-pressure port is down inside the engine compartment about a foot. The short hose on this thing made it impossible to see the gauge or even use the dispenser except by feel. The only way to use it was to reach my hand into the engine compartment, between the belt and cooling fan (an inch from either side!)

My system needed 2lbs of R134a - way more than this bottle holds, so I took a chance and ran the entire bottle in (I was sure I was empty - but it was a chance). It worked out fine and I guess we'll see how the leak sealer works before I top it off with a final, smaller can.

If you figure (at the current price) this product runs $1.44/oz and the smaller, 12-oz can without the dispenser is $1.25/oz, this is a pretty good deal since MOST PEOPLE won't have to buy a manifold gauge set. But for me I think I may end up needing the gauge set anyway because the whole deal about the re-usable dispenser/gauge head doesn't work if your low-pressure port isn't easily accessible.
