Have done a number of timing belts in the past and always wanted a tool to hold cam while loosening & tightening bolt . Finally decided to spring on a tool . After looking at different tools like this , I was feeling faint from the high prices that they could cost . I read reviews on this one and figured 7 wasn't a lot to spend to try on something that might actually work . I also figured that if it didn't work , I would return it and get something else . Well long story short ,it's now a permanent part of my tool collection ! I used it on my PT Cruiser , and the cam pulley removal and installation was never so easy ! Best to have a second person to hold it while you loosen or tighten bolt , but i managed fine solo .

This should work fine for most applications. I used it when changing a timing belt to hold camshaft spocket, and also oil pump gear. Simple design should work well for occasional use.

Absolute junk. Didn't fit well, slipped and cut up my crank pulley, and after 3 attempts was bent to the point of being useless. Don't bother.

Described as works on Volvo, not an XC70, might work on other cars, engineering of product is of marginal quality, possibly find another use for it but not very usefull in my case.
