I recently bought these 'Plastic" air horns for Trike that I built not really expecting much but wanted to try them out.. I DO RECOMMEND THESE !





I mounted the compressor under the seat at the rear of the bike and with extra 1/2" clear plactic hoses mounted the horns in several locations under the front of the bike...





They are as advertised 135db and give "Inconsiderate" drivers notice that "Hey I'm here! and you cut me off, or your not seeing me !"





I have Train Airhorns on my 4x4 F-250 , that I paid a lot of money for, and these amazingly are very close to them





I did find that I had to unhook the stock motorcycle horn because it affected the sound of these horns???

Using horns on a boat. Make sure case of the compressor is grounded to battery ground and switch will work. Will blow all horns at once and musical.

The horns installed without any problems, but I was surprised and dismayed to discover these horns play a show-off melody. There was no indication anywhere that all three horns would not sound together. I am not one to go down the street playing La Cucaracha or whatever it is. The instructions include a mysterious toggle switch to make a connection "for optional tuned sound." No idea what that means either. Loud, and well-worth the money, just be advised you will be playing a tune when you honk. Also, add a drop of super-glue to keep each horn in its socket.

I installed on my golf cart and are perfect! but when I took them out of the box and wired them up the compressor was jammed so I had to take it apart and grease it up and so far they work great and are loud.

You better glue the horns or you will lose them. You will need to crimp fittings on relay and compressor. You should have clamps on the hoses also. Sun will kill this plastic very quickly. Very thin britle plastic. No explanation about optional musical tones. Wire from existing horn to relay should be positive not negative as shown in manual.

how do i change the tone? i like the sound but the tone is killing me.

Overall it is a good product.

I mounted these on my motorcycle as the stock horn was so weak.


Pros: Definitely loud enough to get you noticed and at a decent price.


Cons: I didn't count on the musical tones not being optional. I thought that the music was optional by adding a toggle switch. If I want to go to a single toned blast, instead of the "Jaws" attack tones, I can always remove the rotating disk as David did in his review. You'll need to buy wire and crimp on your own connectors.





Overall, I would recommend this item to anyone who is tired of being "invisible".

unuseful and confusing diagram ,I used wollo diagrams to installation.lack of tubing ,needs clamps,very noisy compressor.
