The weight capacity for each ramp is 2,000 lbs.. An individual using this product would only have a potion of the vehicle on the ramps, so HF's stated GVWR of 6,500 lbs. is correct. If you plan to suspend a vehicle, with all four tires off the ground using two ramps, make sure that your vehicle does not exceed 4,000 lbs.. I jumped all over the front of my 2-ton vehicle when it was on these ramps and they did not flex a bit. Competitors do sell the ramps cheaper online, but shipping rates kill the deal. Solid purchase that will last a long time.

I was shopping for some ramps and was dissapointed that all the plastic ones I saw only had a 6" lift. I took a look at these steel ramps and was surprised that they have an 8" lift. Very sturdy for the average family car. They stack together for easy storage in the original cardboard box.

Although it says in the online ad they hold up to 6500 lbs, after purchase at my local Harbor Freight, it says each holds 2000 lbs only (so a total of 4000 for the pair). Perhaps this explains the problems other reviewers had with this product.

They work great for my VW, Ford Escort, and other sedans. I wouldn't trust them with off road tires or any full-size pickup, though. But for the price, they will work great with just about any car. And they're WAY better than those lousy foreign-made plastic ramps.

I purchased the ramp set to change the oil on my 2 cars & I am so glad I did. To me it made the whole oil change process so simple. I remember my Dad having a similar set when I was a kid(over 20 years ago) he was always doing his own car work. The ramps allowed me to get underneath my cars & feel comfortable doing the work I was doing. I also purchased a wheel chock from HF. I am very pleased with my purchases & the HF price is the best I could find in Chicago, IL

Totally shocked to find these at HF. I got a set by the same manufacturer 10 years ago and rock solid. Was looking for more and could not find them. Others where either plastic or wobbled.

Very heavy that is why they had to be shipped all the way from the USA. It was I saw them, what is in stock now, I will take them type of deal.

These are similiar to a yellow pair I had 10 years ago, except these seem a little thinner. They work just as well, can't believe there are still things made in the USA these days at a low cost. The paint (or powder coating) did miss a lot on the bottom but I don't plan on keeping these outside.

These ramps are well built, sturdy and give a good lift height of >7". I ended up not being able to use them on my car because the ramp profile was too steep for me to drive my car (Volvo 850) up on them without hitting the front skirt. HF graciously accepted the return and gave a full refund. Great service! I would buy these ramps again should I wind up someday with a car that has more clearance.

I drove my 1/2 ton truck onto them and one just folded forward crushomg it flat. Not very strong or safe.

Tried to run my madza up on them and they just slide on the floor Mfg say " put a rubber mat under them"
