After reading the negative comments I thought I would pipe in. I have used these ramps a few times for small things like oil changes and adding a new hitch to my truck. Each time I make sure it is lined up perfect. I am not sure if I would use them on a heavier vechicle though. I had planned on using them on my RV, but after reading the comments, I think I will buy some jack stands and use them as a back up. Just incase.

I used these ramps a few times with no issues. Maybe it's just me, but when ever I go under a van/car with a ramp I always support the car/van with a floor jack. Anything can go wrong, so why not spend the 10 min's to be safe. Even though people have given this ramp poor reviews I find using it simple and never slipped from under the wheels when driving up on it. No cracks or sign of wear. I don't care what brand ramps you buy the key word is be safe and think twice.

Lots of negative reviews. I bought these about two years ago and have used them several times with no issues at all. I have a 98 Dodge Dakota 4x2, I've had the front and back end on these many times and they show no signs of cracking or buckling. As a precaution, I always use jack stands to catch a possible collapse.

I have tried to use ramps for years and they always slip. I like the stability of a ramp, so I end up lifting up the vehicle w/ a floorjack and putting the ramp under the tire instead of just driving on it. This product worked perfect the first time and every time.

I prefer these over the metal ones. Even in light of the issues with them. The plastic around the edges cracks really easy if you drop it. They are also easy to work with And I prefer the plastic ones over the metal kind for weekend oil changes.

If I were you, I would buy some expanding foam and fill up the open areas with this and then not have to worry about the outside plastic cracking. If yours do, use foam and fiberglass to do repairs.

I bought these, mostly for oil changes and to install a hitch on my car. No problems with them feeling flimsy or like they are going to break, though I should note, I'm using these on a smart car, so just under 2000lbs, and my other half's car, a PT Cruiser - so nothing to heavy here. I'd be a little more nervous using them with a large truck or SUV, but for most home applications, this should be fine. I like them better than the steel ones, because the would tend to slide/skid and would shoot out from under me coming off them, no problem with these plastic ones. The chock is pretty useless, though, I can't seem to figure out how it's helpful unless you remove the ramp half of them while the car is on them.

These ramps are good for the price, but not good to use over and over. The ramp face becomes worn.

These ramps were lovely as I got tired of raising my up my cars at home with jacks every time I had to do a an oil change. It cuts down on the setup time by a lot so you can quickly change oil or tranny fluid. This is the good part.

The bad part is that it's not very durable and it poses a safety hazard. The ramps started cracking around my 10th use when I drove my family van onto it. On the 11th use, I drove my Scion XB onto it to do a oil change and peices of the bases of the ramp cracked and shot out. It didn't shoot them out with a lot of force, but I hate to think what else might happen if I continued to use the ramps. The average life span on these ramps were around 1 year before they became unsafe to be used again.

Had these ramps for couple of monthes before I tried them. The first time I used them one of them cracked, I will not use them again. Steel is the only way to go.
