Keep a deep bowl of water on the hood and keep the lens wet as you use the 500, 800 & 3000 grit papers and they will last longer than you expect, cut aggressively and won't clog up.

I loved the micro-fine velcro adhesion system, made it very easy to switch back and forth between papers.
Instead of starting by washing with soap and water as directed, I hand scrubbed my lenses with a grey scotch brite abrasive mesh pad and removed a great deal of oxidized plastic that way.

I was able to do 4 cars and have a majority of the sandpaper rounds left unused. For newer lenses (my wife's 2005 Accord) I started with the grey scotchbrite then the 800, 3000 etc no need for the 500 grit. My daughter's roachy 1994 Corolla needed the 500 and they cut very aggressively. Don't press hard, just light pressure and let the wet disc do the work. Flush with water frequently to clear the swarf off the surface.

Completely restored the headlights on a 2001 Subaru Forester. Looks like a new car in the driveway and can't wait to drive it at night. Be sure to follow the directions and be extra sure to tape up the painted areas around the headlights. Didn't follow those directions and got a few extra scratched areas but those were all my fault.

I was skeptical in using this product, but I had little choice as my headlights were shot. I figured let's give it a try since I had seen a demonstration on Motor Week. After two hours of slow work I can say my plastic lenses are like new once again. I would suggest using lots of water to prevent clogging of the sand paper. You will not be disappointed if you follow the directions and take your time.

I thought the lights on my 98 merc were shot. Tried other products with poor results.I polished them with this and they are like new headlights.I'm very happy and have plenty left to do a at least a couple other cars.If you have a variable speed drill and can follow directions you can do this.

I restored the headlight lens on a 2000 Dodge Caravan and I was amazed. Read and follow the directions and be patient with the sanding steps. I have tried other products with poor results. This one gets 2 thumbs up!

Bought one of these a few years ago to use on my Wife's '02 Civic. Brought the lenses right back to brand new condition. However it only lasted 2 or 3 years before the cloudiness returned. So, I bought another kit and did it again a few months ago. I guess [$] every few years isn't so bad.
