This is the forth garden trailer that I have bought in the past fifteen years. None have been of the quality of this last one from Harbor Freight. Last three were from _ear_ so you would have thought? Know I am going to be pleased with this one.

Not to be used on the road, this is a decent low priced heavy duty lawn trailer very useful for towing behind a riding lawnmower, hauling wood, dumping dirt, compost, helping with light constuction. I often use it to hold my tools and as a work platform. It has too flaws: 1. It can "self-dump" if the cargo weight is loaded too much towards the rear. This is correctable by using a bungie cord on the dump release. 2. If you turn it too tight you will bend the trailer's pin connection. The hitch pin is too far from the end of the trailer tongue.

This trailer is an excellent value!
Really need two people to assemble, but goes together fairly easily.
Tailgate is pretty useless in the way that it attaches, but still good to have.
I had to put the hitch on top of the tongue for my application, but not an issue.

My biggest complaint is that the foot where the dump-bed attaches to the tongue has no bracing. It will wiggle on rough terrain and become dislodged from the latch, causing the bed to dump unexpectedly. Still working on a fix for this issue.

it didn't take long to put this trailor together. i used my cordless impact to tighten everything down. the dump works pretty good. it does seem to be made of light wieght medal, but for garden and yard work it does great. i have a heavier duty one i hall wood on becuase this one wouldn't do the job very well.

I've had this cart for about 5 years now and it still holds up great. I put a ball hitch adaptor so I can pull it with my quad and disconect it fast when I need to. I had to remove the dump lever and bolt it down so it no longer dumps. I also had to bolt down the "tailgate" so it wouldn't fly off on the rough roads and higher than recomended speeds I go. Its held up well to 5 years of abuse, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one.

The axle was too short to put both the washer and cotter pin on either side! I only put the cotter pins in and will be ordering a proper cut axle to put it together properly. (Hopefully at no charge) The drawings were rough and hard to understand on one or two sections. I used an extra bolt, nut, and washer left over for the spring lever hole. (Drilled it to size first 3/8") Use the 2 longest bolts #22 in step 8 for the tongue end not the tongue support in step 3!...the instruction is wrong. Otherwise you will have different hardware than explained and will have to undo the wrong ones and refit. Pay attention to the Screw vs bolt placement except for step 3 an 8 as I explained above or you will be spendinf more time taking apart and putting back together. I gave 4 stars as it was not so smooth to put together. The rest is still yet to be seen. Bonus Zerk grease fitting...if you got the grease gun to do it with.

I wouldn't call this cart "heavy duty." The cart is fair for light weight materials.





I was hauling soil and the draw bar twisted and the cart fell over. The latch for the dump is not relaible - opens by itself when traveling. The rear panel is too light gage steel. It bends and twists where the pins are located.





It is well balanced with heavy loads, and the paint holds up well for being outside year-round.

This product is not worth the money asked. It is made of light weight tin. It may haul dirt ok but put a spayer and 20 gal. of insectice on it and it pops up.
