Ordered the trailer on Tuesday, August 28th. Received all three boxes two days later. $6.99 for shipping. Amazing. Packaging was inadequate for something this heavy but all pieces made it through without damage. I enjoy building from kits like this, so I took my time and had fun. A little over 4 hours to complete. As I pulled out and fitted each piece I was constantly impressed with the quality of each component. Everything fit together perfectly. The fasteners (lots of fasteners, all provided, with a few spares) are high quality SAE (much better than the packaged fasteners that you normally get at Harbor Freight). The instructions require quite a lot of interpretation and are hard to read. The wiring and lights are the only "cheesy" components. I added my own rubber grommets at pass through points and I soldered and sheathed each connection, but I still think that I will be replacing the wiring and lights in a year or two. I expect the trailer to last for many years. Made in Taiwan, not the main land, which for some reason makes me feel a little better. [$]. How is that possible? Includes a signed Certificate of Origin so license and registration (required here in California) should not be a problem.

I purchased a 14' Alumacraft that was a little too big for the roof rack on my Chevy. I couldn't believe when I found this trailer at H/F - especially the price. I ordered the trailer with a tongue jack, spare tire/carrier, and boat winch.

When the order first arrived, it had been damaged during shipment, and I did not accept delivery from the freight vendor. This was initially disappointing, but a single call to H/F had a new trailer on its way that arrived in perfect condition a few days later.

Assembly of the trailer was a snap, and I noted no deficiencies in parts or directions. I did have a friend help me turn the wrenches and set up the components for assembly, but we were able to get most of the work done in a few hours.

I fit the bunks and rollers to my jon boat, and made the trailer connections to my Chevy without issue. This trailer pulls like a dream, and handles the boat perfectly. I'm always getting remarks about how "nifty" the little trailer is with the boat on it. Together, they probably don't weigh more than 450 pounds with gear and could probably be pulled by just about anything.

The only possible negative is that the trailer is so small it is impossible to see behind my truck. I purchased a couple of tall guides that I mounted on the trailer for better visibility. These also help in getting the boat on at the ramp, so it is a recommended addition.

Overall, an outstanding value for what I paid, with easy assembly and a so-far perfect record with my boat on its back.

i bought this trailer for my 14' jon boat.it was easy to assemble. the only thing when assembling do not over tighten the bolts on the hitch. i had to loosen mine up a bit because the lock wouldn't work right. it could stand to be a little wider. i have a chevy avalanche and even with my boat on the trailer i could not see it. i added channels to the back to make it wider. could stand to be 200 lbs heavier to keep it down when you hit bumps

Very strong. i changed the bunks, there are much better bunk set-ups out there. Other then that, it a great little trailer. I'm using it on a 11' 7"' flat bottom jon boat. Just make sure when you connect your wires you do not use the supplied wire nuts. Do it right. Use crimps or sodder, then heat shrink the connections to ensure there is no chance of a problem.

this trailer is well built, durable and light enough for one person to handel. the only problem I had was with registration it took several months to get the correct bill of sale, but Harbor freight did there best to get things right. I now have my jon boat on it ready to get to the water. check your state regulations for home built trailers. good luck and good fishing.

I bought it for my 121 lb. canoe and it works great. No more strained back. All parts were there and they fitted. It took about four hours by myself. I did have to re-read the instruction manual a couple of times because I'm new at that this kind of thing.

I was in need of a small trailer for my 12 ft Alum V-bottom boat to use on small lakes around me, this one fits the bill very well. Putting it together was fairly easy, a little trouble running the wires but still not bad All parts were there but i did have to get a couple new bolts for the guide boards and I also trimmed off the brackets for the boards. I installed a wench to help me load when im by myself. It tows very well and is easy to hook up, very pleased with the trailer, wish I had gotten it sooner.

I modified the trailer to haul 4 kayaks so the wife would not have to lift them on a car....AMAZING!!!

I bought this trailer at the beginning of this season. I wanted to use it a few times before writing the review. I have now used it several times for my 14ft semi-v boat and it has worked great. It is not hard to put together. Takes about as long as you would expect for a bolted together trailer (4+ hours). It pulls great on the highway even with the small wheels. I am very satisfied with this product.

Great product! Being an old guy, lifting a kayak on-an-off my Jeep‰Ûªs roof became a real pain and finding a trailer with a 14-inch loading height was a blessing . I modified the trailer to haul my 14-foor fishing kayak (Wilderness Systems, Tarpon 140) as follows: 1.) Welded a small (6- inch high ‰ÛÏfoot‰Û� just behind the hitch‰ÛÓthis keeps the hitch off the ground. 2.) By drilling 2- small holes in the main (tongue), the entire wiring harness can be threaded inside the frame‰Ûªs tubing and totally protected. 3.) To manually move the trailer, a hand grip from my Jeep Wrangler works very well. This is Velcro after-market gizmo that I purchased from 4WD.COM. 4.) An important modification is to remove the ‰ÛÏmiddle‰Û� rubber guide-wheel and replace it with a carpeted piece of wood. This, to properly support the kayak‰Ûªs underside (my support is 1- foot x 3- foot). 5.) To facilitate the tie-downs, four each, 5/16 chain links were welded to the frame. 5.) A spare tire that bolted to the frame, too, is a nice addition. ps: The thing trailers very well, and I find myself checking to see if the trailer is still behind me. gm
