This fit into the 2" receiver perfectly. It seems sturdy enough. I wish it had a different pin/clip. This one has a nut and bolt. The D-ring is too narrow to put a chain with a hook into it. You have to remove the nut and bolt to run the hook through. The D-ring should be three times the width.

I own the big brand name, 3 times the price receiver hitch, and bought this as a backup for my other trucks. 3 times the price means solid bar stock, instead of squared tube. I had to grind the square tube on this one to get it to fit into a standard 2" receiver. I use it more than my expensive one with no problems.

I have one of these on my 1980 K20 mud truck that sits on 40" tires. I got stuck for the first time in a while last week and finally got a chance to try out my new D-ring hitch from harbor freight. It worked great and was impressed by its strength considering that the D-ring has a very small appearance and the fact that I had a 4" 20K pound nylon strap attached at the D-ring. It held up great and got me out of the hole that I was stuck in. I would recommend this to be on everyone vehicle!

-I would rate is as perfect if the D-ring was a little larger.

I've owned this for about a year and bought it simply to prove that it wasn't worth paying $40 for an equivalent product. I was sure it could get the job done, so I took a gamble and bought it. I've used it to pull logs out of the forest, my buddies out of mud holes, and my friends broken down car to the parking lot up the street. I've been quite abusive to it and it's stood the test of time. However, it's far from perfect. When I first saw it online, I noticed the picture shows a clevis bolt through the shackle. However, when I bought it from my local store, It just had a standard bolt and nut through the shackle with a pin through a hole in the threads of the bolt. The shackle is cheap looking and the welds on the body look like junk. However, I ain't broke it yet, so I guess looks cheap and acts cheap are two different things.

This lil guy fit the bill for me and the price was right. The only thing that I'm not sure about would be the D ring. I would like to at some point swap the silver looking one for a beefier off road one later on. It's a great lil buy.
