    Bought this winch to move some old dozer tracks and farm machinery. I built a receiver mount that can be used with reciever hitch or chained to a tree. Winch pulled dozer tracks out of the woods, the tracks had been coiled and bolted years ago and the winch pulled the whole thing out to where I could safely cut them with a torch. Glad I purchased this winch.

      I have used my 5000 winch to pull cars on my trailer to scrap......so far it has proved to do what its supposed to, I have pulled full size trucks and blazers on the trailer some with a flat tire!

      I keep this in My Ford Focus, and used with the Focus. I pulled out trees and my Ford F350 4X4 when it was broken. I also now bought a 12000Lbs winch for my truck. Very happy with both.

      I bought this for pulling small trees. Well, I had my big Ford F250 4x4 with a plow that needed to be pulled up my steep driveway and 100' long. I used this winch with extra tow rope. setup the winch onto the group with a cain that was in the ground/ to cannect winch. Used my boster back for power, and it worked. pulled the truck with no problems. Only thing, i had to stop a few times to let winch cool down. didn't want to break.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

      Works great have used this winch for almost a year now. Installed it on my Yamaha Rhino and use it to pull trees down and once becouse I got stuck in a swamp, now I use it to lift and lower my snow plow....for the money id highly recommend
