Was a little concerned after reading some of the negative reviews, but I have nothing but good to say about the one I got. Works just like it's suppose to and doesn't leak at all like some of the other reviews said. I've only pumped diesel with my, but that's what I bought if for.

We have used this pump for many years to pump the bulk two stroke oil we used to sell. It primes fast, does not leak a drop, and fills a five gallon container very quickly. No maintenance at all. Much easier to use than a diaphragm pump. I bought another one to pump fuel oil and it is also fast with no leaks.

We have one at our shop. We get oil by the 55 gallon drum to service our trucks, and we use this to dispense said oil. It takes only a crank or two till you get oil, and once the oil's there it pumps fast.
The only problem with pumping something thick like oil is that the residual oil keeps running for a little after you stop pumping, but that's not the pump's fault.

Its very reliable!I have been pumping fuel from drums for over a year haveing no problems, I can fill up a 5 gallon gas can in less than 30 seconds, your arm will get used to the rotaing, or work slower. its a great buy for the price, Im heading down now to get a second one to pump antifreez and see how it holds up. It should do fine since i have been pumping fuel for over a year!

Used on a 55 gallon barrel for farm diesel. Leaked around the outlet but thread tape has helped alleviate that problem.
Good for what it does.

The pump actually works better than I was expecting. I emptied two 55 gallon drums of waste oil into a bigger tank. The only problem is the shaft seal at the crank leaks so bad it runs down the crank and your hand gets that much oil on it will actually sling off if you crank fast. It also runs sown the pump and on to the top of the drum.
