Purchased three and made two into 26" chairs. I'm a carpenter so I sanded all the wood, refinished and varnished, added new screws and it was done in a few days. OH - the two extra supports were used on the bench for added support. My wife and friends love the set. For the money, this was a great deal.

Have had this unit for 5+ years. Dissambled and refinished wood. Made and installed center brace to tie the slats together. Keeps them from moving separately. Saw this feature on $120 bench at [@]. Wood is medium quality. Iron castings are good quality. Hardware is only ok. Recommend for serious DIY types. I'm over 300lb and it holds me just fine.

Decent but not great wood. All the pieces in the box. I wouldnt expect it to stand up to kids, but fine to sit on in the garden with my wife. Looks good.
I'll be buying another.

Many of the boards were cut crooked. Many of the boards were a color that did not match other boards. Some of the holes were not drilled correctly. The screws were made of a metal so soft that when tightened they will snap. Had to predrill the wood for the braces or the screws would snap. The bench would be great except for bad quality control. The harbor freight personal were good, they allowed me to swap out some of the bad boards from another bench. However the other bench had some bad quality boards in it also.

Easy to assemble, nice to look at, but was missing a bracket and not enough fastening hardware to go around. Not very sturdy...used as a lawn ornament

Really dissapointed. I bought two and made up one and now a trip to the hardware store. Customer service was no help.

Decided to get this as a nice gesture for somebody, boy did I have a terrible idea. Bench looks nice, and would be worth the [$] if it at least had hardware that was possible to use. screws stripped out with no hesitation, and minimal pressure. With a nice tipped screw driver that fit well. Sure could use American hardware. some of the slats were kinda bowed and bent, not too bad and not noticeable when its all together. Not too stable when its all together though considering half of the screws for the straps stripped out about half way in.. I would give 0 stars if possible, only positive is the appearance.

Product delivered by FedEx in rough shape. One support bracket was missing and about 4 slats were cracked. Harbor Freight said lead time was about seven weeks for the bracket or I can take it to the closest store for a return. Told them that was the whole reason I made an online purchase and the said they would send me a new one. Free of charge. Still for [$] for two subpar benches your money is better spent elsewhere - trust me.
