We are recalling 100% of these due to the lack of a maximum temperature thermal stop switch, which could allow liquids in the cup to reach boiling temperatures. If this happens it is possible that the steam buildup in the cup from the boiling water could cause the lid to pop off, spilling hot liquid and possibly resulting in personal injury or property damage.
