Bought tool to remove old glue from asphalt tile in my basement. This machine worked like a dream and helped to get job done much quicker. I have a list of more jobs to do in the months to come as this is a versatile little sander- removes paint, rust from metal and nicely too. No complaints!!!

i bought this unit to remove some old paint from my window shutters. I tried to do it the old-fashioned way, scraping, back and forth with a putty knife, but it was tiring, and I was able to do only one shutter until I had it. I was tired, my hand, arm, and back felt strained.


The next day, with this tool I did the remaining three shutters in less time that in took to do the first one with the putty knife.


My only complaint is the rubber dust cover on the power switch, which makes the switch action feel a bit 'mushy' but i understand that it is a necessary part in order to keep dust from working its way into the switch, so still it merits a 5 star rating.

I purchased this sander last week and used it to remove all paint from a badly flaking fascia board (30 feet long) in about a half hour. Good power, easy to control, and no gouges in the wood.

I was a little skeptical about this device, but decided to take a chance on one.

I have to say I am pleasantly surprised at how well this machine takes my exterior trim down to bare wood on my 150 year old house. Previously, I would just remove the old wood and replace it if the paint was in too bad a condition (aligatored, etc.). A conventional sander would just not be able to bring the old wood down to a smooth surface for staining or repainting. However, have you priced wood lately? Too expensive to take that route today. So the opportunity to strip the wood down to bare with no gouging or scaring, quickly, is a real time saver and money saver.

So far so good. I can't address the complaints about lack of reliability, but when I look at how much trim on this old house has been rescued, and begin to add up its replacement cost, the machine has already paid for itself. Everything from here on is a bonus. Nice job H/F !!!

Great tool stripping paint on steel day fast easy, not so good. at tight spots.wheel lasted long time.grinders chew up wheels.and burn paint slow rpm just right.
Only thing when time to change wheel lock didn't work had to drill 1/4" hole at same height as lock button and insert long handle allen wrench easy after I figured it out.would recommend it paid for it's self before pad wore out I have paid more just for pads that didn't last.

This thing strips well but doesn't last long, the motor on this thing gave out after about a half hour of use. Like anything always get an extended warranty, I didn't get one so I can't return it since I pass the time frame from purchase.

Worked as advertised until the internal plastic fan came loose. Reglued. Worked again but the locking hole in the soft motor shaft is wearing out, and will soon be unable to replace the pad.





Product is good for a little while.

Pads clogged up fast. Went through 6 pads and just got about 3 sq ft done. Did not get much more than 3 Sq ft done for the unit shorted out and tripped the breaker

Noting poor reviews, purchased the unit and began carefully sanding a diving board. Never let the motor labor. The moment the unit was inverted, it began to get hot and smoked, almost instantly.

This unit is as unreliable as the comments by other reviewers.

Purchased the Harbor Freight air tool, pad sander, and adapted the Electric Paint Remover pad. Much better solution. Less weight, smaller size, more powerful, and no heat and smoke. Bit noisy, so pick up some eye and ear protection as well.
