Not a bad product for the money. I would defiantly pick it up when its on sale because you can find it cheaper on line. I've used this leak detector two time now and the settings are either too sensitive and picks up residual or just not enough. It will let you know if you have a major leak but if your troubleshooting a small leak down you have to be patient and sometime you just don't have time. I would recommend this product if you just want to fix it yourself.

worked ok, found car a/c and home a/c leaks. Cheap way to find them. But after a few years of very rare usage. it no longer works at all, it turns itself off.
i probably did get my moneys' worth, though

Used THREE TIMES, then on fourth time it either would not detect anything or alert to halogen randomly. Tested with steady flow of r134a through probe and got nothing on highest sensitivity. Brought it out of the refrigerant stream and it went bonkers. Always stored in the case, in a tool chest, out of elements. WASTE OF MONEY.
