Got this upgrade from the 3200W model. First start took one pull. The noise is not as bad as it sounds. It is slightly louder than the 3200W. Very happy with it. For the price and watt rating, you simply can not beat it. I can purchase 4 of this instead of one Honda. I also got one year of insurance for it too.

Purchased this unit as a replacement for a 16 year old unit. Assemblied and serviced unit, pulled twice and it started and ran flawlessly. Checked generator frequency and voltages under load and both were right on. Ran unit 3 hours unloaded for break in and changed oil. It is now ready for service when needed. Ordered spare parts as insurance incase there is a problem during a power outage. Better to have parts that are never needed than to need parts that you don't have during a power outage. Support staff was knowledgeable and ready to help.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Used this generator for almost 2 straight weeks due to sandy destroying our town. Wired it right into my Panel, we were able to run the hole house as if we never lost power. We had 2 fridges on ran heat, microwave, washer and dryer, 2 Tvs ofee pot and so on. I cant say enough about how great it ran. Make sure you replace the oil as called for.

I compare the product with others and its great. Its really cheap compare to a honda. Maybe not as quiet but it puts the same work. Specially for its price. I upgrade the moffler to make it quiet and build a box fire proof with a fan inside to make it extreamly quiet. Added big wheels for easy moving, and I love it. Its used often with my welding equipment and helps me get my work done. I really recomend it and the upgrades i done where great.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Total electric home and it runs 3 refrigerators, 1 chest freezer, water heater, TV'S and every light in the house. Very satisfied overall, with the exception being the noise. It is REALLY LOUD!
