My students use it in our sandblasters to etch their project mirrors, wood signs and plastic designs. Works well with contact paper for plastic and mirrors. With duct tape for wood designs.

Good media. Very fine and doesn't clog like sand or coal slag, but it cuts through paint and rust just as well. It has very little dust so I can see what I am doing. When I get paid I am gonna get some more for my 110lb pressure blaster.

As one other user said.... cash was an issue I bought the blaster that has gray media holder.. it is very reasonable priced... I think.. and this 44lbs of media. I assembled a cabnet out of lumber wow great tool. I have blasted my rear end, block, trans case and several other parts on car. all in all this store has great deals and most everything is in stock.... Thanks HF you saved me big$$$$$$ on this build... Randy H

I purchased the cheapy 1 liter blast gun and a jug of this 70 grit on a whim because I didnt have enough room or $$ for an actual blast cabinet. Turned out to be an AWESOME combination that works superbly AS LONG AS YOU HAVE ENOUGH COMPRESSOR TO RUN IT. I use it for rust removal and pre-paint prep on aluminum and steel vintage motorcycle parts. I would love to have an actual blast cabinet BUT this more than meets my needs for now.

Like a breaze. Used it to take the paint off my valve covers for repainting. Worked great.

We use this in our blast cabinet as well as the 110lb HF blaster it works great it blasts away rust, paint, Mill scale & powder coating with ease. the other reviews stating it don't work must be doing something wrong or have a small compressor. We run a 100gal Quincy compressor and this stuff eats anything you put in front of the nozzle.

great for aluminium surface prep like valve covers, eng. parts to be painted. poor rust removal if rust is heavy.Great for gun parts that have to have a clean surface (like AR15 handgaurds etc) and doesn't need to have a high polish bluing surface.Gives it kind of a parkerise look after its preped and coated(looks like a satin finish).
