2.0x Bifocal Safety Glasses

Picked up a pair and have been happy ever since. I guess I'm getting older and small print and small screws are getting harder to see. It's great to not have to switch between safety glasses and my reading glasses. Certainly not eye doctor quality lenses, but does a fine job of magnifying small print. Bifocal is positioned low enough on the lens to not interfere with normal work, but placed properly for when you need to glance down for the magnification. Frame is not made of impact resistant plastic, so I wouldn't abser them too much, but if you use reading glasses these will serve you well. Much better than trying to fit safety glasses over reading glasses. Can't beat then for the price.

These seem to be about the same as the other safety glasses, except for the section of +2 diopter (NOT 2X magnification) in the lower half of each lens. Since my recently implanted cataract lenses don't focus at all, working with small items given the limits of my trifocals has been a pain. However, putting these safety glasses over my regular glasses gives me a combination that lets me get closer and see the smaller details.

I bought a second pair this morning. Since they are "safety" glasses, it wouldn't surprise me if they were damaged while protecting me--and my expensive street glasses--from something.
