Kit is solid. heavy construction, hoses are very strong and the plastic in the hoods and blast gates is strong and doesn't flex. also it shows 1 hose but there are two hoses and both stretch to almost 20 ft each. I was very impressed. and It's really inexpensive. check around and compare, you'll see.

Some people in other reviews complain of the hose not fitting standard 4 inch dust connections. I found the same thing BUT if you just heat the end of the hose with a heat gun and stretch it a bit, you can make it fit perfectly. Even shrinks a bit as it cools so the connection is good. I know its not perfect but for the price it is great.

Another reviewer mentioned the clamps failing. They do. You can make them MUCH better by simply unthreading the screw and replacing the junk washer with a good m6 or similar washer. worked for me. I put my impact driver/drill on them now and they are fine.

Overall its totally worth the money. Kit did include two hoses, each about 8 to 10 feet long. Not bad!

I have three work areas in my shop that I collect from so I bought two . It is a great value compared to other prices that I looked at. The only problem is the hose clamps are of a poor design.I suggest squezzing the clamp by the washer with a pair of plyers before installing them.

This hose is one of the gems at harbor freight! The hose is stiff enough that it maintains it shape so it doesn't collapse on itself unlike the dryer hose type c*** some other places try and sell as dust collection hose. It's also smooth inside which increases air flow, a big plus! The hose clamps are decent along with the adapters but the blast gates are cheap though and leak badly. Even if all you want is the hose, it's cheaper than comparable quality hose

Hoses are kind of stiff like they haved alot plastic in them.


Thier ok when warm 80-90 degrees but when cool they are stiff.


Fine for a dedicated connection but not if you moving at around


in a cold shop. Overall still good for the money.

Do yourself a favor and buy your hose and connections at a reputable wood working store. This hose is so stiff you can barely maneuver it, it does not stretch, maybe if you have two gorillas to pull on it. The hose barely fits on the connectors.

In a previous review someone wrote that the hoses were good quality,but they were brittle and unusable. The inside diameter was slightly smaller than it should be, so they barely fit unlike higher quality hoses. The clamps were fine as well as the y fitting and blast gates. Do yourself a favor and spend 10 more at a specialty woodworking store for fittings and hoses.
